Thanks for the review. Now that some time has past since you review the scooter and used it, how do you feel about the scooter now? Is it still function properly. Is it really worth it? Hope you respond.

Thanks for this review. I am going to buy one of these for University. It gets old running back and forth between multiple buildings like an idiot and wasting so much energy.

I’d have to spray paint over the swagtron branding
@chrisb.12145 жыл бұрын
Funny how so many people like yourself are embarrassed by the name of this brand. It's not like you're going to look super cool riding a kick scooter in the first place anyway so who cares about the branding. I couldn't care less what the jerkoffs out in public think about it.
@cyurenes99614 жыл бұрын
Adam Burns I wouldn’t spray paint it. It wouldn’t match with the carbon fibre body. Plus, the branding looks nice. Not really sure why you’d be embarrassed with it.

How do you charge it?
@jetfowl4 жыл бұрын
I had one of these. The battery life on this scooter is very poor. As he stated, it doesn't get anywhere near 15 miles per charge, but more like 5 miles. It's only useful as a "last-mile" vehicle to get you from work to a subway/bus stop/train. And you'll need to charge it every single day. Lastly, there isn't much tread on the front (ie: powered) wheel. When the rubber is worn off, you'll need to take it to a repair shop for replacement (or send it back to Swagtron). It's not something you can easily do yourself.

Guys this is my second scooter and when braking the Top tube plays any help would be much appreciated. Top tubes should have zero movement when the brake is applied unlike this model.. would be nice to show you how to prevent this movement!

BikeFolded Can you tell how the scooter is running ?

Can someone please tell me? If this scooter can be use for commuting
@benji3767 жыл бұрын
juan colombia the answer is no. Unless work/school is WELL UNDER 6 miles away (3 if you’ve not bringing a charger), and if it never rains. The thing literally goes crazy when it gets in contact with water. After 1 moth it starts falling apart, and the battery capacity is significantly lowered.. also it rattles and isn’t very comfortable. Especially when it’s cold.
@zx10rpower177 жыл бұрын
juan colombia don't know what this Debbie downer is talking about here, but I've had it for 2 months now. use it to travel in downtown Chicago for 4 miles every day. I've ridden it after it rains and have had no problems. I have clocked about 71 miles according to the odometer on it. as for comfort, it's what you would expect from a scooter with small wheels. just imagine one of those razor scooters with an electric motor.

@RobotsEverywhereVideos7 жыл бұрын
no.
@ProducingItOfficial7 жыл бұрын
Throughout the video 1:36-1:49 you show and explain that there are 5 gears there are, but in other reviews of this scooter they usually state around this having 3 gears? Someone plz answer😞
@jesne__7 жыл бұрын
I just received this scooter, it has five.
@benji3767 жыл бұрын
It’s really really simple. There are different models of the same scooter. The swaggtron swagger scooter - along with a lot of other similar scooters with different brands - come from the same factory in China. You have the base model witch has 3 gears, aluminum body, bad front lights and a 4,4 ah battery. Mid model has carbon fiber/aluminum frame, 3/5 gears, proper led front lights and a 6,6 ah battery. The pro model has carbon fiber body, 5 gears, led in the front and back and a 8,8 ah battery.

@TheChristianTaoist4 жыл бұрын
@@benji376 I will keep that in mind, but knowing that they installed three different batteries in one model over time is extremely relevant information when one is considering a major purchase like this. Especially for someone who lives in San Francisco, like myself. Going home means climbing four or five blocks uphill. 👍

First question of many, how easy is it to put a freshly charged battery in it after you run out of your original battery that doesn't go anywhere near 5 miles or 15 even if you are a hundred pounds or lighter less than the maximum weight? How much did you weigh at the time of this video and how many miles should you get on a single 1.5 or 90 minute charge? What really bothers me when I'm shopping for a serious adult commuter Urban commuter electric scooter is that the people doing the reviews never say how much they weighed at the time of the review or actually how many miles they got and also the terrain that they tested it on. Almost all videos shows somebody testing these things out on the smoothest most perfect terrain and still are not getting more than 5 miles to the 15 miles at claims. Now you don't look like you're 220 or 250 lb but that should make all the difference shouldn't if you weigh 100 or less then you should be getting a lot more mileage per charge. Again I want to know how easy it is to get replacement scooters with a docking station so that you can carry them with you and that way you don't end up stranded or worse please just told the truth about the batteries and how easy they are to replace you can keep going

awful battery, seemingly solid but eventually crappy construction, problems and more problems galore! for 300 dollars, thats exactly what you're getting. Its no surprise that even searching up "carbon fiber scooter" in alibaba or some other chinese online market shows basically the exact same frame and design. Dont buy this product unless you want to throw it away in a month.

It's possible that you had a defective battery. It's supposed to have up to 50 miles on a full charge.
@coolman7177 жыл бұрын
Michael Kennedy wow... I mean a quick check on Amazon would immediately disprove your statement as swagtron usa literally states a 4-15 mile battery. like I said tho, maybe 2 miles on full charge with kicking. not to mention I got to try out FOUR swagtrons from Amazon due to their amazing return/replacement policy. TLDR: the 4 SWAGTRONS I tested got 2 miles max on a full charge
@coolman7177 жыл бұрын
