Only North is the only right direction anymore, all other directions lead to death!! This is definitely so perfect & perfectly only Swallow The Sun. Clear as the first ice, pure as the first snow, a collision of sorrow and hope, unique frailty and timeless power in the same line, inevitable darkness and coldness into which we must dive again...but with music like this it's easier and the journey will eventually lead into a new tomorrow... 2015 will definitely go down in history as one of the greatest years in Finnish metal, now that we will also have this gigantic opus in our hands...

I think what he means by that it's the same point the whole "concept" of the album is trying to imply. They are a Finnish band and the whole porpouse of this release is to truly make the listener feel what it is like to live in the cold white desolated lands of the north. Its a 3 parts album and each of them carry the message of I gloom, II beauty and III despair. But at the same time it carries an optimistic message of freedom and happiness (at least thats the way i see it). Only North is the true salvation, the only way to achieve actual freedom and getting connected with nature.

What a great song. Feels like something new for them, but at the same time drawing from previous sounds. I am still getting over the fact that I just listened to a new Swallow the Sun song and that there is a TRIPLE album coming out next month. My jaw is on the floor. To those that are worried about the production- I am sure it will sound better. KZbin probably sacrificed a bit of the quality. I like what I am hearing though.
