The Bhagavad Gita or the Gita Saar is widely revered as one of the greatest jewels of spiritual wisdom in the history of humankind. Bhagavad means “of God” and Gita means “song.” Hence, the Bhagavad Gita literally means “Song of God.” It describes the divine dialogue that took place between the Supreme Lord Shree Krishna and his devotee Arjun on the battle ground.
Unable to deal with the immediate problem at hand, Arjun approached Shree Krsna for a palliative to overcome the anguish he was experiencing. Shree Krishna did not just advise him on his immediate problem, but digressed to give a profound discourse on the philosophy of life. Hence, the Bhagavad Gita imparts, above everything else, Brahma Vidyā, the science of God-realization.
Bhagavad Gita describes clear-cut techniques for implementing its spiritual precepts for everyday life. Hence, the Bhagavad Gita is also called “Yog Shastra,” meaning, The the scripture that teaches the practice of Yog.
In this series, Swami Mukundananda reveals the original meanings of the Bhagavad Gita Quotes, Shlokas [Chapter 7, Gyan Vigyan Yog, Yog through the Realization of Divine Knowledge] with crystal clear explanations and perfect logic.
In this episode Swami Mukundananda explains verses 6 and 7 of Chapter seven of Bhagavad Gita.
एतध्योनीनि भूतानि सर्वाणीत्युपधारय ।
अहं कृत्स्नस्य जगतः प्रभवः प्रलयस्तथा ॥
Know that all living beings are manifested by these two energies of mine. I am the source of the entire creation, and into me it again dissolves. ||6||
मत्तः परतरं नान्यत्किञ्चिदस्ति धनञ्जय ।
मयि सर्वमिदं प्रोतं सूत्रे मणिगणा इव ॥
There is nothing higher than myself, O Arjun. Everything rests in me, as beads strung on a thread. ||7||

Very eye opening explanation by Swami Mukundananda ji on how this world, souls were manifested by God. There are so many theories on Truth explained by number of scientists but none of them were consistent till today. But the Absolute truth is nothing but the Supreme Lord Himself. "Only by knowing Him we will get to know everything and Only by seeing Him we have seen everything." Awesome explanation by Swamiji.

Awesome and simplified explanation of creation and the body-soul differentiation - the journey of us as souls- from one birth to another until liberation. The Absolute Truth of the whole of creation is the Lord Sri Krishn Himself is scientificlly asserted by Swamiji. Everything is connected to the one Lord. Nicely explained ... must see video.

In this episode, Swami Mukundananda ji explained how everything in the world is energy of God. The souls are part of God's Divine energy and the body is of God's Material energy. And also explained about 3 bodies that Soul consists of (Causal, Subtle and Gross body). Then Swamiji mentioned about the Absolute truth which is God Himself. Very nice video for one who wants to know about, how and from where the world and all living beings were created etc;

In this segment, Swamiji talks about the various forms of God’s energy (e.g., prakriti, ahankar and panchatan matra). The panchatan matra manifests through the body (material energy) and soul (divine energy). The gross body consists of the five sense organs and elements of nature; the subtle body consists of the five knowledge senses and the causal body that consists of the karmas accumulated from previous lives. Swamiji beautifully discusses the importance of understanding that we are immortal souls that reside in a perishable body. The gross body changes in each life depending on the life form we deserve but the subtle and causal body (atma, mind) remain the same as the cycle of life and death continues until eventual liberation.

Gross, Subtle and Causal body descriptions were very enlightening. "Everything is strung on me" - what a profound statement - takes away all fears and apprehensions of any 'unknown' as God's IT - Omnipotent, Omnipresent and Omniscient! This faith and belief saturates the being with intense peace. As always, Swamiji's explanations help cut ignorance and empower us with the knowledge to 'know' and grow spiritually and intellectually.
