@@EuroGupper in Guyana we catch hassa with a cast net 😊 we also sued hooks but we caught order fishes no luck caught a hassa with a hook 😀😀thank you Jonathan 🙏

@Shawn Sahafi As a kid we used to dam up part of the creek and than run back and forth until it got muddy. All the fish came up for air and when we had enough we broke the dam on both sides of the creek

you can find these the entire length of the St Johns river and any water connecting to the St johns, catching them is a different matter, I tried fishing for them in lake Toho where they are plentiful, you can see them splashing the surface, but they wont bite, I tried worms, chicken liver, hotdogs, nothing, any ideas in what bait to use??

the best time to catch them is early in the morning or late afternoon. i catch them with worms. make sure the bait is on the botom
