Here’s a weird coincidence. I live in RI, graduated from URI, and I was just now walking on the very Bike Path to which she referred, when they story came up!! While not defending the potential attacker, many of us use the Bike Path and don’t wear work-out clothes. It’s cold now, and I look like she described, down to the blue baseball cap, save the beard. The clue should have been his behavior, not his outfit. I hope everyone that walked past me today doesn’t assume I’m a predator merely because I’m not wearing work-out clothes. It’s the lurking behind a tree hiding that’s the problem, not his outfit. Stop judging people by their clothes, they mean nothing.
