Dude great vid, really think LFB will really blow up if you keep them coming. Great content and a little taste of what you can learn from LFB elite.

He did, and if I had listened to him instead of throwing different baits we probably would have caught more at that spot. That's why you bring people who know what's up!

@@LAFishBlog I’m the same way it really doesn’t bother me to not be catching. I will be fishing the trestle guy with me is banging them and I will try 20 different colors because I just want to see what they’re willing to hitting hell I might find the magic one color. Keep doing what you do!!

I'll have to check later when I get time as I do not remember the exact name brand. I can tell you that type of hook is called a flutter hook. I got them from Gus' Tackle in Slidell.

I go by water color and sunlight to decide what to throw. In cleaner, clearer water with good sunlight I'd throw lighter / natural colored stuff. Dirty water with overcast days I go to purple/black and maybe a chartreuse tail. In bright light with dirtier water I go with chartreuse. In very low light of dawn, dusk, or night I like solid black. If one color starts working I'll put 2 of the same color on the double rig.

Try a dropper loop for the tandem rig. No tangles at all.
@LAFishBlog4 жыл бұрын
I think anyone reading this should definitely try that but, for what it's worth, I have and it still tangles. Everything tangles. I think it's just how much it tangles over the course of fishing trips. Thanks for commenting!

@@LAFishBlog Just twitch your rod couple times they will untwist themselves. Also shorting up your tandem rigs help too.

Hey Denny are you on the North Shore by Bayou Bonfouca? I have heard of the grass beds like its a specific place but I am not sure. I know you say fish conditions not spots and I agree but I just am so curious. I just recently found the Hospital wall. Well at least I think I found the Hospital wall. Anyway, I just recently moved to Slidell. I don't go fishing nearly often enough so I am trying to get better on the few times I do go. Thanks for all your help. Your Spoil Canal route was priceless.
@LAFishBlog4 жыл бұрын
I don't know who Denny is? lol jk Anyway, what I did when I got home is what will answer your question. I took the GPS tracks off my boat and uploaded them to Google Earth Pro on my computer, and made another video going over everywhere I went and everything that happened (just to fill in all the gaps). That video is available to members of LAFB Elite at this link: www.lafbelite.com/course/9-25-20-lake-pontchartrain-speckled-trout/ Perhaps you're not a member and, if this is the case, you should consider all the benefits of membership: www.lafbelite.com/join-lafb-elite/ Tight lines
