Grant Welcome back! That was a resource based trip! First the network to save the seat & get it back to it' owner! Then...Awesome job resourcing local bait options, uummm Stank crab! That drum didn't hesitate a moment, great cast! I couldn't help but think about those live crabs... Perhaps using one of those dead crabs for the live crabs to pinch onto & pull out their holes! Thanks for sharing!

I will admit you were "close'ish" to Swan Lake. ;) I live on Copano Bay and there are several great places to fish. I like Mission Bay, but you have to know where to go due to all the oyster reefs. Nice catches though!

Outside of rockport. If you look up Swan lake, Tx on Google maps you’ll see it. There is a designated kayak launch next to a big white dome which is a shrimp farm.

Forgot the darn shrimp that morning in my freezer. I took it out next trip. Cut bait, well, I didn’t have that either. Should take my cast net next time. Plenty of finger mullet at launch I could net before we head out
