Hi DrChris Yes I have some of the woolpower stuff, i think the 200/400 and a 600. very nice products and well made too. We are considering stocking them, but we have recently taken on RAT Cutlery and a few days ago MORA knives, so unfortunately Woolpower had to go on the back burner. But I do like the clothing alot.(though I think the swannie sock are better than the woolpower ones!) Paul

I'm planning to buy a swannie but the only place I have found selling them is Swanndri in NZ, the one I'm after is the hooded version.

Nice to hear! Well then I guess I'll pick up a pair of Swannie socks then, thanks for the tip.

@MisterMinnesota Difficult to be precise, it depends on what else you are wearing, the weather (wind ,moisture) and your build and temperament etc, but its a good quality mid layer that gives good/excellent insulation. I've worn mine form plus 25C down to minus 35C, with/without other layers.

Have you tried Woolpower? Find them to be light and very warm

good ol' swannies, you only get wet from your own sweat.
