Note that I probably have more hours put into this than almost anyone watching this video. Like I said I took time off from work just to play this game. I have spent hours upon hours grinding this game with little to no sleep to make videos for you guys. It is possible to get heroes maxed out you just have to put in a lot of hours and focus all your resources into 1 thing at a time instead of scattering all your points across various crates. Put your parts/scrap into the things of most importance to you first. Then only upgrade the cards you know you will use for your trooper class. (I only use assault so I don't put anything into the other classes until later) I'm doing this same strategy on my second account and it's working just as fine especially since the heroes aren't 60,000 anymore. Yeah I kind of agree to disagree that would give all the really good players way too much of an advantage. I use Han Solo without any cards equipped and got 58 kills . A level 0 can use the same exact Han loadout. There can only be one Han Solo on any given side in Galactic Assault , so why would another player with an EPIC star card load out effect me ? The EPIC tier star card advantage isn't as black and white as people make it seem. How is an EPIC tier star card YODA gonna effect me as an aerial trooper? I can just jet pack away from Yoda and keep my distance at all times. Stay out of his attack range. YODA is mostly melee range and an aerial trooper or droid can get on high cliffs Yoda can't always reach. The game balance is very well done in this game with the right strategy , Star Cards shouldn't affect you like people make them out to be so EPIC and game breaking pay 2 win.

A random tip that is kind of obvious but I wasn't really considering when I started playing: Working on a trooper class at a time, maxing each card in your loadout to purple, might not be optimal if you regularly play each class. A lot of trooper Ability star cards are perfectly usable at common level and with higher level just get reduced cooldown, increased blast radius or whatever. Whereas Trooper Boost star cards benefit more from being leveled up. I'm now unlocking hero crates and crafting/upgrading trooper cards, initially aiming at Blue/Purple Boost cards and common Ability cards for each loadout I want to try. I'm not excusing the lootbox progression system, but hopefully that helps someone try out a few different loadouts without blowing all their crafting parts. I play maybe 2-3 hours average a day, and already got all the heroes plus enought credits to buy Fin and Phasma when they come out, and I'm only half way in the milestones. Peoples who complain about grinding are people who like complain and have tunnel vision. Its easy to earn credits early, after that you do the milestone for your class to get engought cards to unlock all the slot and there you are, you accumulate enought credit to buy 1-2 crates per day.

Thank you for your service. With this I truly have glimpsed the hellish grinder that this game would be. I really wanted to find a silver lining, but this...I just simply don't have time for. I was looking for an experience akin to battlefront 2 (2005). Renting it for two days was enough. Addendum: with what little I played, (4-8 measly hours) I would relate the experience of playing this game to watching an episode of starwars: clone wars. You see rex and Anakin and a bunch of clones rushing some droid position, and of course you want to be those heroic badasses, but if you are just playing a few games casually after work you feel more like the two or three sorry clones that get blapped just taking cover. Granted there are moments of fun, but ultimately every time you die you're reminded of this system and of the long, long grind to get to the fun you thought you'd enjoy installing the game and jumping in. This looks tedious, sitting there opening packs of cards for tens of minutes, after hours of grinding, just to progress the few classes you use to a useable point, on some maps, and on some sides. It gives me a hollow feeling just talking about it. Yeah I could pay for the boxes and get some cards the first night, but If I'm going to pay $60 dollars to only get in the que to grind I'll spend that on any other free to play game and get MUCH more value. Considering the base game doesn't even give you a decent card to start out! Ha! EA has squandered such an incredible title, prioritizing milking the playerbase over content and general enjoyment.

You make it seem so easy, But first you have to have all heroes unlocked which takes a lot of credits so there's some grinding, then you have to buy a bunch of crates to get all the cards so you can get the duplicate again it takes a lot of grinding. I liked the old card system on the 1st battlefront where you could pick and choose what your 3 star cards would be for any class or hero. You kind of can with BF2 but not like the original. I definitely feel the infantry people need tweaked and to improve on hero and vehicle cost/health. Also the amount of credits u get after each match and actions in match makes no sense in comparison to the 1st battlefront. I also don't like that they took away the old way of squad spawning. That is a strategic necessity IMHO

I need the Credits to unlock Chewbacca, Leia, Finn, The Emperor, Cpt Phasma, and Darth Vader. I spent so much credits trying to upgrade my Cards. One thing that sucks though is that Dennis has said that the amount of credits you receive after a game is performance based and this is the first time I need to call him out for not sticking to his word. I am 99.9 percent sure that it's not even close to performance based. I have played games where I get about 5 kills and 6 deaths and I get around 385 credits, but in the next game I get 30 kills to 5 deaths and recieve around 200 credits. Not only that but the amount of credits you get is a piss poor amount. Usually I get around 300 credits and I have to say that is complete bullshit.

Guys even before watching this video i know the only way to get good purple cards are to level up and grind out challenges so you can obtain crates (which contain crafting parts)

You pay money or play the game and you can get loot crates. Loot crates improve your abilities slightly and everyone is going insane over that and ignoring the fact that all DLC is free and that the game is fucking amazing.

Basically you can pay real money for these loot crates and get the best gear in the game with no effort whatsoever whereas us normal people would have to spend hours just to get 1 or 2 of them making it unfair when playing online

They still really need to be rewarding more for playing well for those that don't have the same amount of time to grind. Sure, it means you'd be maxed out even faster and that doesn't really bother me. Something tells me they're not prepared for having progression sped up though. When they based the game design around monetization you know everything went to grind mentality; hence only counting 20% of your performance. The EA corporate overlords wanted to make people miserable enough to buy crystals.
