Maybe cause I’m a BB9E and Lando main. I see an annoying enemy hero. I just bait the hero to get in the open. Stun them, and watch their health go down super low to the point where they are afraid to act like hot stuff again as they just carefully play for the next few minutes. Not in Hero Showdown as I never touch that mode.

Luke is a beast, best hero in 4v4, but in 1v1 Obi wan is more safe and difficult to kill. Against a very good vader, you have a chance with obi wan or Rey, but not with luke. However he 's as good as Rey at least.

Something to note about Yoda’s dash ability: The hitbox for it is absolutely broken, you can do a normal dash through your enemy, and dash attack when you’re behind them. You can even dash attack around them outside of their range. If you combine this with his triple dash star card, you can wipe out nearly half an opponent’s health by chaining these, without any risk of getting hit.

i noticed the same for luke and maul, dodging past your enemy once and using the dash ability will cause them to take damage from the backside. There is even a bug with lukes dash that if u turn around and face your opponent at the end of your dash it'll count as another attack and deal another bit of damage

When you dash with Yoda do a primary attack as you get to your enemy, his primary attack will go right through the block adding to the dash damage. With the right setup you will kill in 3 dashes with a 4th coming off cooldown.

Yoda's dash has a bit of a stagger effect and that with the unblockable damage for some reason let's you do a free primary attack on them, could be a bug honestly. when you use Yoda's primary attack while dashing you will do a lunge, the timing you can learn somewhat easy with practice but when you dash you try to do the primary attack right before you are passing through your opponent. the lunge attack will bring you back to the opponent like a homing attack. You can get a friend/or use the arcade with a second controller to play a blocking enemy. Or you can practice Yoda in co-op, I found perfecting it against infantry bots to be somewhat helpful. I would love to hear if you have any progress.

Yoda has garbage stamina but they actually do mention that presence cancels immobilizing effects in the ability description so if people don’t know it’s cause they don’t read, yodas biggest weakness is bad damage and stamina but if used right can be dangerous if patient too much aggression is how you get parried😭😭😭

As a former max level Anakin main, I instantly liked this vid when you put Anakin in the B tier. I see waaaaay too many people put him in A and S because of his ability combo (I think?), which as you mentioned is easy to counter/avoid. He is also the buggiest character in the game, and those bugs will VERY often get you killed. Glad you also mentioned his slow and telegraphed swing speed- there have been SO many times where I’ve attacked an enemy to finish them off, and Anakin decides to do his stupid twirl swing, which gives the enemy PLENTY of time to avoid it. Edit: I also think Grievous should be S-tier. Beating Heart and Flesh is Weak make him nigh unkillable in any game mode

I personally think Anakin is S-tier big time in HVV. All Of Them + Raw Strength = 270 damage to an unsuspecting team with a combo and if you include punish attacks the numbers go into the 500s or even 600s if we're talking back attacks. In 1v1s, since the enemy is always aware of you, it's a different story. Anakin is reliant on his abilities to get things done and if he can't land them, then he kinda can't do anything because his regular attacks are not that great

Anakin is an A-S I have him maxed and once you learn stamina management with massive strikes and steam roll only ability you need is passionate strike.

@@LimKim-po5kw The thing is, Anakin is what I call an ability-centric character - by that I mean his abilities are way more powerful than his regular attacks. Because of this you'll want All Of Them + Raw Strength to deal more ability damage. Steamroll is still good for the 3rd slot, but then again without massive strikes his stamina isn't bad so you could use Attraction if you wish

idk if you know, but you can go through blocks with thrust surge with grievous, it just requires a bit more. First, lock on to target and dash back. While dashing turn to the right or left and activate your thrust surge. This will make you attack at an angle which goes past the blocking area.

I'd like to also mention boba fett for blaster heroes because unless you're fighting Anikin I'd say you stand a pretty reasonable chance against lightsaber users on most maps. His for the hunt combined with his normal jetpack allows you to quickly get away safely while piling up damage with the Ee 3 or boba's rocket barrage especially since it goes through blocks. The only problem is you can't afford to make many mistakes even more so then any other blaster hero. So having good aim and map knowledge is important for success with him

I think Mace Windu would be A tier with his Vapaad and Force Crush abilities, Dengar would be A or B tier as he would be the strongest blaster hero with his DLT-19 and Explosive Rush ability, Thrawn A tier with his superior commanding abilities and support roles, General Veers A tier because he would have a AT-AT ability, and Ashoka A tier.

I see what you're saying. So when Yoda uses his dash, he will deal damage to you regardless if you're blocking or not, making the move unblockable. However, you can still punish this move with a parry, because his ability will still hit your block giving you that opportunity to counter attack.

Pretty much. It's a very odd and unique ability. Very strong at chipping away enemies health, but can be very weak if an enemy knows how to parry. I also forgot to mention, if you were to block the ability (with a parry or not) it will deal reduced damage to you.

I think Rey´s insight does give you less stamina consumption so it helps a lot with the 3 dashes star card but im not sure (theres also a card to reduce stamina consumption). I personally also use Bossk in duels as a villain if i dont get the last saber user since idk how to use Palps and it has a great unblockable damage with all his abilities (mines, grenades and gas), Chewbacca is a good option for me too for all his cc and unblockable crossbow, but Han is better imo. Dooku is in my opinion also the best Duelist. He is my main, and he is perfect fit to my playstyle which surronds lightsaber duels. His star cards also make him way more terrifying than Vader could ever be with the right abilities active alongside them. Dooku can end a duel essentially as soon as it begins. And from my own experience, I have ended many duels in under ten seconds with Dooku due to his insane damage.

Personally I think Rey is garbage, her ability that allows you to invert controls is easily counter by just dashing backwards and her charge is easily parried by mauls choke or vaders choke. Her only good ability is her middle one. I would rather have yoda or any other lightsaber duelist over her. This is just my opinion though
