Where would suggest placing the tape measures? I would want one going horizontal and vertical. I have the adhesive style.

+Grammasarge The tape measures go on the fence between the t-track and the white polyethylene bearing material. Seal the surface first (varnish) as any adhesive tape will not stick to wood for long. The vertical tape goes on one of the rails (I use the left rail) on the flange that gets machined off at the top.

Why would you show us how to plough the groove (not a dado) in the rail using the SwapSaw if we are building a SwapSaw? We DON'T HAVE a SwapSaw to cut the groove!!!!! We're building it!!!! That's like showing us how to build a table saw by cutting all the pieces on a table saw.

What a putz. Just because he demonstrated the Swap Saw's router capability, doesn't mean you have to have a Swap Saw to accomplish the task. . . just a router and a straight edge. If you are so dense as to not figure that out, perhaps you shouldn't be watching a woodworking video and should go back to playing video games. . . you and the 5 millennial's who gave your lame comment a thumbs up. . . most likely your babysitter and his friends.
