Lol appreciate it. My favorite has been the vr6 rabbit, but trying to get it perfect has had us stuck on it for years. Thats the number 1 thing for the year, yet I started on 2 other projects so far lol.

Do you still have the injector pump from the 1.6 still? If so, would you be willing to get rid of it?

Hey so I have a mk1 caddy with the na 1.6d 5speed and I’m looking at a 1z 1.9tdi with a 5 speed would the motor be almost a drag and drop mount wise
@SmithsEuro Жыл бұрын
No you would need custom mounts, different axles, shifter if using the 02a 5 spd If you reuse your 020 5spd thats 100% bolt in

@@SmithsEuro I knew about the axels cause If I remember correctly I’d need like 90mm axles or so and I’m getting a 97 Passat that has the 1z 1.9tdi it’s a complete car so what exactly do you think I’d need
@SmithsEuro Жыл бұрын
If you use what you have and your 020 5speed you need nothing else. 02a mounts/clutch cable or hydro conversion/shifter mounting and shifter/use scirocco 16v axles and if you have 90mm knuckles you add washers to clear knuckles if 100mm knuckles the axles fit no problem

I want to try to polish the paint out when its all done, something I’ve never done before. Interested to see if any shine can be brought back.
