SWAPPING VANLIFE for HOTEL LIFE 48HRS - full tour (Van Life Turkey)

Things step up a notch this week from typical van life and we resort to spending 48hours in a hotel, as we are hit with a RECORD BREAKING HEATWAVE with temperatures as high as 45-50 degrees.
We were told during a Van Service in Istanbul that our Ford Transit 2011 converted Van has no Air conditioning - not even when we drive. So we should have seen this coming.
after 2 months of travelling around Turkey in our van, visiting places like the Blue Mosque in Istanbul, taking hot air balloon rides in Cappadocia, paragliding over the Blue Lagoon in Oludeniz, having one of the worst drives of our trip yet in Trabzon and travelling further east to see the ancient sites of Gobeklitepe and Mt Nemrut.
Hotel we stayed at was:

it was a well needed break for sure! so hot in the van, we were melting 🥵 very hard to leave the hotel but can’t stay there forever, funny how we have gone through so many seasons this year.
