Press and hold the power button. Tap on Power off. The phone will turn off. Once the phone is completely off, press and hold the volume up + power keys at the same time. Keep them pressed until you see the Samsung boot animation logo. A blue screen with a yellow triangle will appear. Wait a few seconds and the phone will go into recovery mode.

Hi, any of these methods did not work for me, but my partner removed the memory card and it's working well now, some apps were installed on the memory card and that was causing the issues, hopefully, this will work for you as well:) let me know in the comments if it worked for you!

I own a M31S, i have been facing this restart issue for over 2 months now. Its the Exynos 9611 fault, Samsung cheated customers using bad quality and shortly after 1 year of purchase the phone starts to do this. There are no solutions to this issue, you can wipe cache partition, Safe boot, hard reset, nothing will work. you could try fixing power IC but even that wont help. Only option left for all those facing this issue is to either SELL THE PHONE or FIX MOTHERBOARD for 7k-9k but that only has a 90 day warranty.

Turn off the Fast charging feature from Battery section in Settings. My phone used to freeze and restart every 5-10mins of usage, now it does once a week. Still better than getting the motherboard replaced. Additionally try installing Microsoft launcher.

Hey, I had a talk with Samsung service center engineer, he told me that it is power ic problem, either a software flash at service center or replacement of motherboard will help, he told me if device is out of warranty and you don't want to get the motherboard replacement, then go to a known mobile repair engineer, he will repair the power ic and phone will work properly He told me that now company is also having problem because the issue has occurred in huge amounts and they are not able to provide free replacement because cost of motherboard is high, its loss of Samsung from all angles

I reset my system but it didn't work. I went to samsung service center they suggested for motherboard replacement. Samsun know it very well that they have problem with this chipset. Samsung is offering motherboard at discounted price of 2708 rs. I got it replaced and the problem is solved.

Bhai i did all the things but no change.. then i saw SD card corrupt. I remove that and it seems fine now.

My m31s after new software updates, when (volte)is on , any incoming calls show on (unknown ). No number, no name. Only unknown. When (volte)is off no any problem. How can to fix this problem please 🙏

Bahi recovery mode me enter karna ka bad wipe chases karoo problem solve hoo jayagi arag nahi hui to ek bar apna phone sa sabhi setting reset kar loo lekin phala backup le Lena

Same problem here. I think it's happening for many samsung models after the latest September update. Especially for the models with Exynos chips. Samsung is yet to officially respond to this 😔

the service centre might ask you to change the motherboard which would cost around 7k-8k. Better just repair it from a local shop and sell it. Samsung products are useless now.
