@omairkhan24106 жыл бұрын
do they looked stressed to you? lmao they having fun
@reptileadventurethailand20156 жыл бұрын
You mean stressful for the snake. In countries like India or Thailand people live often with a few cobras on their land, and they get barely to see them, because they try to avoid humans, as good as they can. The problem are stray dogs, who chase them into our house. And also habitat destruction by human hand. If people clear their land for plantation or construction, cobras need to flee. That's how they end up in our homes. We could actually let them stay in our house. We would just to be careful, that we don't step on them. Cobras don't chase humans. They just want to be left alone.

Good try buddy, not bad. Next time just remember that if you grab a snake all the way by the very tip of its tail (especially if youre going to be aggressively shaking the snake by the tail) you could actually hurt the spine of the snake and it could die from this injury later on. It's best to get a firm grip on the tail but not the very tip of the tail, and this will also give you more control over the snake.

Though not a snake catcher, and only experience of driving professional snake catchers to the crime scene. Once the snake catcher had a similar issue where the snake would not get in to the ruck sack. Many attempts later it happened. That time on talking to a very experienced snake catcher from Pune told me that the scent of the ruck sack causes the problem, where the snake does not want to go in. His suggestion was to rub the soil in the insides of the ruck sack and put some at the entrance. The second time a cobra was giving such problems, I on my initiative prepared the ruck sack in this fashion. On the next attempt the snake virtually jumped in!

This reminds me to be grateful for what I have and how I live in a country that cares about their citizens (cares - at least more than India anyway). In countries like India you have to do what you need to do to survive, even if it involves risking your life everyday.
@ravishingravi3 жыл бұрын
And how does this video remind you of that ?
@SamPan203 жыл бұрын
@@ravishingravi Sorry, I didnt mean to offend anyone. I meant us Brits need to stop whining because we are lucky to have things like comparatively generous social welfare, and it not the norm for citizens to have to deal with the everyday things that people who live in other countries have to deal with, and we take this all for granted and always moaning about how bad the government is here.
@ravishingravi3 жыл бұрын
@@SamPan20 No worries. I am an Indian currently working in Europe. And I agree, There is a lot to be grateful about. There is great deal of security and comfort and value for human life in Europe. But I dare say, Europe and western world have mixed up security and survival with life. I see more life in eyes of people in India and on the streets than I see here in Europe. Western world has become beacon of hedonism. Traction into life become difficult with exclusivity and comfort.
