@tigere1506 Жыл бұрын
The reason why every culture knew this symbol is probably the Ursa Minor zodiac sign. I couldn't yet validate it myself unfortunately, but I think that it has the North Star as a center and rotates around it over the year. So you have Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer and this sign is in another direction every season. Then it kind of looks like the swastika if you add all four seasons together.

You have broadened my thoughts. The "natural" (or man-made) rotation of time and sunsets would be clockwise. So maybe they are merely old Sun-Worship symbols... and then of course the anti-clockwise would be a representation of NOT being a Sun-Worshiper.. akin to a Cross/Crucifix symbol for Christianity, and the upside-down Cross/Crucifix representing anti-Christianity. I really liked the part about using it in spellwork, the clockwise way for speeding up something or as a confirmation of sorts, and the anti-clockwise way to signify a negation to something or a kind of way to stop time. Hello and thanks for your video of the worldwide observed Swastika symbol. Sorry for my delayed response. I agree very much with your general “energetic swirling” interpretation of the Swastika and its both ways motions. You´re of course familiar with the Shamanic tradition of gathering extraterrestrial informations by spiritual travelling, and I have this symbol only to be observed by this tradition. As this Shamanic tradition is the first and natural religious/mythological tradition, it´s logical that this symbol is found in all ancient cultures. Looking at extraterrestrial astronomical symbols which very much looks like the stylized Swastika, the first and obvious imagery shows to be rotating “barred galaxies”, to which type our Milky Way galaxy also is categorized, and in fact, also a telling which is embedded in the numerous cultural Stories of Creation. The eternal cyclical process of creation is Formation, Dissolution, and Re-Formation, and this understanding fits naturally to a symbol which rotates both ways as seen with the Swastika symbolism too. Regarding more “energetic swirling” symbols, we also have the hither till scholarly interpreted “Solar Wheel”, often having round dots inside and outside the wheel ring. This interpretation is IMO not logical as the Sun cannot be observed to rotate and one cannot “connect its carved symbolized dots” to the Sun as well. In my conviction, we´re are rather dealing with the nocturnal symbolism of the Earth axis Polar Wheel, which seemingly rotate energetically and indicates stars with its added dots. If so, your mythical calendar wall carpet really shows a Polar Wheel, but this is indifferent as an annual solar ritual calendar, caused by the Earths orbital motion around the Sun - as long as the starry precession motion of 1 degree every 71.6 years isn´t an included issue in one’s astronomical calendar consideration. For more information and illustrations, google this full text: “native-science net - the native way of knowledge” and let me know if you have some comments. You can also find a mail-contact at this site. Thanks again and Best Wishes from I.N. Comparative Mythologist & Natural Philosopher Denmark

You're not wrong. The oldest Fylfot/Hakenkreuz/Swastika came from Ukraine and the Yamnaya people who then traveled west spreading the symbol and helping to establish the corded ware culture. Then then went back east and later into Iran. The Iranians/Aryans kept the symbol and when they invaded India, they took the Vedic culture and Swastika with them. Like the wheel (and cars, electricity, internet, etc. etc.) it spread to the world. Other cultures didn't have it until it was introduced to them.

It represented prosperity and good luck to nearly all of them, as well as a symbol of the sun. There was literally no negative meaning to this symbol. I've always been drawn to it more than any other symbol. I even have a pendant of it, although it's not a standard-looking one. It'd be too difficult to wear a typical-looking one because of its connections to WW2. Growing importance of the silk road might be the reason for their conqest. One legend says, Khotan was founded by Mauryans. Whomsoever may they descend from, their Kshatriya origin from Gangetic plain is certain. K-Ts bore pure Sanskrit names, wrote in Brahmi. K-T's Monarchy & literature are the oldest in Northern hemisphere (Great steppe, C. Asia, Europe, Tibet), means KT were the first literate people landed in NH. Subsequently split in groups spreading beyond their domain. 500-600CE onwards became kings/lords of TMTT, conquered C.Asia, Iran, M.East, Arabia, Ezypt, Greece, Balcan, Europe, Tibet, China. Yarlung, Khazar, Avar, Seljuk, Mamluk, Ghorid, Ghanavid, Mongol, Ottoman, Mughal & other so called Turkik dynasties are founded by K-T's sons. 13th c. Ghorid dynasty have burnt down Nalanda world University just after Al Biruni grabbed Vedic literature of science, maths & passed to Europe, thereafter Aryavart saw no invention, economy survived on previous inventions. In modern time K-T's sons who are absorbed in Turkik tribals in so called Turkik nations jointly dreaming another round of Aryavart's destruction. Aryavart began receiving invasions only after K-Ts' arrival in the great steppe. It must be noted, Saka, Kushan, Xiangnu are Kshatriyas too, roaming in the great steppe since 8th c BC., never been able to invade Aryavart until Khotan landed there. Even mighty RgVedic clan Persus (Persian) couldn't advance beyond Gandhar. Perhaps KT offshoots led branches of Saka, Kushan, Hun (Xiangnu) in invading North-West Aryavart b/w 1st c BC & 4th c CE. Parthian Kshatriyas too most possibly left Aryavart during Mauryan hegemony in the 300 BCs who've driven out Alexander's successors out of Iran (Mada, Persia) & middle East, ruled over 500 years. Uncorrupted Sanskrit name "Partha" suggests their recent emigration. Parthian army was mainly Mada, Persian, Saka. Some other Kshatriyas too might have left Aryavart for the great steppe refusing Mauryan hegemony, absorbed in Sakas, came to be known as Sauromata (Sarmatian). 👉 From the 1st c CE Aryavart's Aryas landed in Arabia during Indo-Roman trade, brought navigation, bred with tribal women, adopted Arabic. Becoming lords of Arab tribals invaded M.East, Iran, Anatolia, N.Africa, Spain, Sicily. Think why Arab couldn't dare attacking I-R ships, didn't dare attacking Mesopotamia before 7th c if they're martial race. Think why Arab couldn't make voyage before. Arab couldn't advance beyond Sindh, beaten back by Gurjar Pratiharas, Karkotas but their ideas spread deep into Aryavart. All above Kshatriyas have lost ethics soon they began breeding with tribal women & imparting tribal ideas that have changed their physical features as well as ethics & moral. Europe's kings are certainly latest immigrants. Roman & even 10th c Arab traveller IBN Fadlan met all races, found the f!lth!est in Europe, a ret@rded person can only claim races of that calibre colonised continents. Long imbeddd non violence ethics from Buddhism, Jainism, Vaishnavism in Aryavart's Kshatriyas was another reason of Aryavart's destruction.

"SWASTIKA" is a Sanskrit word, and its meaning is "TO BECOME PERFECT". In other words, to become ONE WITH THE ONE. In TANTRA (NOT THE YOGA OF SEX , but the FUNDAMENTAL SPIRITUAL SCIENCE) the horizontal line symbolizes CONSCIOUSNESS (PURUSA or SHIVA in Sanskrit), whereas the vertical line symbolizes the OPERATIVE PRINCIPLE (PRAKRTI or SHAKTI in Sanskrit) which is subordinated to CONSCIOUSNESS. These two lines intersect to form a CROSS, which means that CONSCIOUSNESS allows its OPERATIVE PRINCIPLE to qualify ITSELF. The four lines on the four ends of the cross symbolizes its rotational nature (anti clockwise) in order to "unscrew" the KULAKUNDALINI ("COILED SERPENTINE) that is coiled clockwise at the base of the spine. And when this coiled divine energy is released from the base of the spine by the use of a SIDDHA MANTRA (a mantra empowered by a realized being) through meditation and other spiritual practices, the spiritual aspirant (SADHAKA, the one who performs SADHANA = "EFFORT") reaches the SAHASRARA CHAKRA permanently, the meaning of the word SWASTIKA is consummated.

Okay but that's a foreign word. Our native word for it is the hookcross. Our usage of it isn't necessarily linked with that of the Indians. And if it is, that link is then thousands of years old. Either way there's no reason to use a foreign word to describe a native symbol, this will give people the wrong idea, they will then say we 'stole' the symbol.

The fire cross of the Swa(vel)-sticka was the same from Hel to Hokkaido to Kem to Aari-sona, etc etc. (In Amme-rika known as the 'Whirling Logs' by the Natives). You will find it depicted by the ancient Etruscans too, the Rot-Ulvlinga. The arms were hollow from the knee to the tip and stuffed with sulfur (Swavel-sticka means 'sulfur-stick'.) Mounted horisontally on a pivotal pole, it would - when lit - spin and emit a circle of fire. While the fire circle burned, one had the right to voice one's grievance, question, statement or whatever before the by-råd ('witan' in Anglo, root word of 'bureau' in later languages), whether one was a Jarl, Karl, Träl or Narr. It is older than the Big Ice; from På-rad-is times. The symmetrical cross (circled, kneed or plain) symbolizes Hel and 4 main world meridians.

Very interesting and informative. I like the theory of the connection to circular motion. Being it has 4 legs also may relate to the seasons or even horses. It's a variation of a spiral too. Perhaps it could signify a portal or link to the spirit plane.
@oldbrokensqueezebox4 ай бұрын
I really like your idea of it being a symbol of circular movement. Simple yet incredibly deep and profound in an esoteric context. I think of the spinning of the Earth on its axis, to the ancients a cosmic wheel spinning the sky above them. If you watch the northern sky all night you can see the stars rotating around the north star in a circular movement. So this circular movement could easily be seen in the heavens and the symbol itself does by its basic appearance provoke a turning of a wheel. Maybe by carving it into objects you were bringing that object to life and giving it the power of the heavens. By carving it into an object circular motion is given to the object uniting it with the power of the universe itself. With Allfather. And this would also explain the importance of circular movement in other areas of Norse Germanic spirituality and magic. By turning yourself in circles or walking in circles with others you yourself create this circular movement you yourself become filled with this power of life and the cosmos and become united with Allfather.🙌 Awesome video thankyou! 🌻💛

@DonDaddaDanoDaDaneCalledDanno It's not a "scandinavian" symbol. It's a worldly symbol. We have used it, but we were not the first to do so. The Asians used it before we (Scandinavians) did, but different people's of Europe used it before the Asians did (pointing to the Swastika found in modern day Ukraine some 12.000 years ago). It is completely misleading to say it's a "scandinavian" symbol as to insinuate it is nobody else's. It's everyone's symbol, including ours. But we do not have the right to use it alone. It is, of course, not a "white symbol" either since the Asians and native Americans have used it too. Therefore, it's a symbol of all people.

I tell people I'm a Wiccan now...and just wear a pentagram. The cops seem less hostile to the pentagram, which is strange to me because the FBI came after me for that symbol back in the 1980s. There is a hypothesis that anticlockwise motion absorbs energy from the Universe (which is infinite), while the clockwise circular movement consumes energy from oneself and cannot be done for a long time - so should be used only in critical, dangerous situations. May be the (spiritual) mistake of Germany in the WW2 was choosing a symbol with a wrong direction, that symbolically was exosting its powers.

The Millstone grinds all things down, Life regenerates and rejuvenates. At least this is what i have come to find in my pursuits of Knowledge. I also liken the design to the movements of Ursa Major as it moves in relation to the Pole star throughout the year.
