It too find finding words difficult…once a relatively articulate public speaker, I now struggle to find even simple words at times. It comes and goes. But I empathize with you. That said, you’ve done a lovely job here. My Qaiomei set comes today.

So happy to see you back so soon! I hope the infusion didn't put you too much under ❤ These were surprising. Beautiful beginner set.

Rhanwen, hi!!❤️My infusion is on the 8th, this Friday :) The month leading up to it is always a little tough - I think it's because the medication by now has left my body, and I have no defenses agains MS. Hopefully once fully medicated again, I'll feel a little more normal ☺️

I was waiting for someone to review these! The paints look lovely and I think Paul Rubens really knocked it out of the park with these colors. I think they’re really affordable and good for someone who wants to start out without investing too much in on paints. Personally I think good quality watercolor paper does more for your work than expensive pigments so these would be great!

I am so glad you liked the colors! I agree, paper is as important as watercolors!❤️

Hi Lily, I think these look very impressive considering they are a student grade set. Very nice indeed. Dee

They did handle very well on the paper Dee, and I was really impressed by how little they shifted in color when dried and how creamy they were. :)

You recommended these for beginners..I don't know much about watercolor paint but it made me wonder, what makes them less suitable for professionals??

They’re a nice set of colours. I find myself chatting along with you, I like this colour or not that one. I prefer a much greener raw umber and thought the sap green was really nice. The emerald should make a food mixing colour. Thanks for the video

Wish you better and will look forward to the video when you are able to post ❤❤❤

I love that you were chatting along!!I agree with the umber observation and your emerald comment did make me chuckle 😄 The sap green is one of the better sap greens out there, for sure! ❤️

I just read your comments and mine. I realised that I didn’t check properly what I had written. I meant to say that the emerald green would make a good mixing colour. I made a joke without realising it. 😂😂😂😂

if these are student grade, how do they go when you try to blend? do they contain multiple pigments so the colours get more muddy?

Colours are nice and vibrant. Though I'm a big believer that you are better off starting out with 6 colours from a top brand than getting 24 student grade paints. But hey...that's just me :). Hope you feel much better very soon!

That is a really good point, Monique! Having a small selection of true pigments, rather than a large selection of hues can teach a newcomer so much! ❤

Hi Lily just wondering what's the difference with these to other watercolours if any? Just wondering why they gave them this name
@lilymoonart11 ай бұрын
Hi Sue, I am not sure but at a guess, this could be the name they chose for their student grade watercolors.☺️
