Looking great. I think you might have to let me test drive it for you, when it all done. It will take about 5 years to complete.....lol I know you and your family can't wait until it is done. It will be sooner then you think and you'll have great fun. God Bless

Yes not all of us with broncos will go rock crawling, the only off-roading that I’ll do is going and playing in the sand like going to Florence Oregon and playing in the sand dunes there, I for one don’t want to beat up my bronco by going rock crawling, I want to enjoy it, it cost to much to just go out and beat up the bronco when you’re on a budget like I am, great video thank you for posting it

Thanks Nic! We enjoy just cruising around mostly. For me it is the build that I enjoy the most though.

Looking great guys, I hope Jonie gets better really soon. I’m watching your video and you’re about to drill a hole in the bottom of the frame rail…I’m thinking “man it will be nice someday, to not have grime falling in my face every time I look up from underneath my Bronco!!”

LOL....I know the feeling. I have had lots of grease and oil in my face many times. Thanks!

I bought mine with the disconnects and never have used them…..wasted money. Not really for sure why but one I installed mine and it took some of the harshnesses out of the front on bumps/potholes. I think it loaded the front springs some? I like the new axle mount. Looks like it should be substantial. With the old parts you have “stock” to modify on the next project. Heading to WI tomorrow. Supposed to rain the whole time. Hope you feel better Jonie. Take the opportunity for Jason to do some house work? One step closer to the first drive…..

Thanks David! Drive safe and have a good time. Let us know what you see out there. I bet it will be fun even with the rain.

I enjoy watchiing your progress. Like you, it seems like almost nothing fits as intended and needs a little massaging...or flat out redesigned! Keep up the good work! Also don't forget the cotter pin with the track bar. Looked like it may not have been installed yet on the lower end on the axle.

Thank you sir! Yes the front-end is all still loose. I have to take it to an alignment shop in the near future so I figured I would just wait in the event it needs to be adjusted. Thanks for letting me know.

My Bronco is a 1977 and has a factory swap bar and don't like the way it hangs down waiting to catch a rock. I was hoping your video would show a better setup. My rear bracket attaches to the radius arms. Strange but it's factory. Your sway bar hangs below the differential lower in the front than mine. I guess for mild off-roading it will be alright. I hope there are other brands out there that I can find so I won't have to remove mine. BTW, my Dana 44 axle tube is 2.75". I have a Super Duty Dana 60 and it measures 3.125" Don't know what that bracket was supposed to be for. Measured my Challenger RT with a factory Dana 60 and it's 3". Maybe it's for that. Ha. Great video. I watch every one of them and love the all!

Thanks for watching! There is a lot of options outtherefor better sway bars. I just couldn't justify the expense for how we plan to use it. We plan to have some new videos up soon.

Now that you have driven it a little bit, how is the sway bar working? I am building a street bronco as well.

Paul, the Bronco drives great. Easy one hand on the wheel while cruising and doesn't dart around.

What brand is this sway bar??
@JasonJonieBuilds8 ай бұрын
I really don't remember. It was one I found on Facebook Marketplace. It was not a high end sway bar but it did work well for a street Bronco.

I’m pretty sure it’s an Addco sway bar! I’m looking to install one on our 2.5 lifted ‘74. Thanks for the video!
