The Vince Staples Show felt like a visual of To Pimp A Butterfly and Mr Morale and the Big Steppers mixed into a single body of work... It makes you resonate with your "blackness" There's a quote over there when there's a fight at a reunion between Vince's mom and one of them aunties and an uncle just walks away saying "Why are we so black" or something along those lines and I felt how these traumas resonate with my people so much that we can even identify by them, that line felt like listening to Mother I Sober. Great show for the black man, I love and appreciate the initiative he's taken by being that silent subtle cultural voice at such an age man.

Nah this is wild… I lived right down the street from that donut shop for a while. And I gotta say! Never tried it lol. When he says. “Contrast of good and bad happening in one space, and not really knowing what’s going on.” Is something I’ve been tryna say about lb in paragraphs for years. This man sums it up in a sentence. Fr genius material. I’ve always said. “It’s a beautiful place, till you sign the lease.” 😂😂 Don’t get me wrong I’d go bak if I didn’t have a little to care for. It’s an experience that wasn’t always easy. But that comes with some life lessons. And fun beyond comparison. 💪💪💪 This dude is the truth.
