God knows what power the process carrys. Wisdom comes out of divorce. Love does not fail. God is love. After my divorce my walk with God changed. After all who am i that He is mindful of me...i am a friend of God. Time for a healthy friendship with myself n God. Great to hear about the progress that comes after a divorce. Being Independent and being individual is two different things. By trying to be an independent you are trying to prove a point and are not willing to be a teammate. But being an individual, you know who you are and are flexible and humble enough to say in some area I need help. I am not able to do it on my own in this area. You are open for others to enter your life and accept them and you know your boundaries and know to respect others. Accept help and say you want something is a part of being honest with yourself. We can live by ourselves but if you want an intimate companionship, you need to be vulnerable. And majority of independent women are trying to let men feel they don't need them. Yes, as an individual woman I don't need a man to live, BUT a man will be a great support and will make life more exciting.

I disagree. I would not be where I am today mentally, spiritually or financially if it was not for my marriage and subsequent divorce. Oh and I don't mean I got money from my ex-husband in the divorce. I'm referring to realizing I could take care of myself and my son because I had been already supporting us and my ex-husband. This led to a first career in IT as well. I also never had confidence and that changed afterwards as well.
