If you want to create more attraction in your love life without just having sex during quarantine then be sure to watch DeVon Franklin & Lewis Howes discuss the keys to a healthy relationship.
DeVon Franklin is an award-winning film and TV producer, New York Times best-selling author, international speaker, preacher, and spiritual success coach. He serves as the President and CEO of Franklin Entertainment. DeVon is best known for his films Miracles from Heaven, Heaven Is for Real, and his New York Times best-selling book, The Wait, which he co-wrote with his wife Meagan Good.
With a commitment to uplifting the masses through entertainment, DeVon has quickly become a force in the media as well as a leading authority on faith, spiritual wellness and personal development. DeVon is committed to using media, whether it’s entertainment or social platforms, for good instead of bad.
I’ve had DeVon on The School of Greatness twice before, and even though we weren’t able to meet in person for this one, he brought the same energy, the same light, and the same hope as he always does. To watch our past interviews together, visit Episode 769 and Episode 409 to learn more about healthy relationships and spirituality.
Some of us are spending more time with families and partners. Others of us are isolated and unable to connect with friends in person. Whatever your situation, DeVon has great advice on how to connect, how to communicate, and how to have healthy relationships during this tough time.
Join me on Episode 940 to learn how to have thriving relationships in difficult times with the inspiring DeVon Franklin.
Why setting expectations for each day is important for the relationship (4:36)
Why the model relationship has to be imperfect (9:41)
How having a genuine commitment to your partner is essential (13:48)
How understanding control will give you peace (22:21)
Whether communication or sex helps a relationship become better (28:21)
Why focusing on how this isolation will help us is important (38:12)
How helping your partner find success will help your relationship (48:12)
How praise and gratitude will help you navigate your pain (54:31)

Continually working on transparency and agreeing with your partner to always see each other's sides and make are you each commit to making sure you have "Heard" your partner. It's been my experience that most people do not separate sex from intimacy, however from my own personal experience I grew up in a way that they were on the other end of the spectrum. Understanding there is a distinct difference and separation between sex and intimacy and THEN communicating on how to use one to strengthen the other!. Devon's point on Expectations is Key as well as communicating simple agreements on how to deal with something each time a disagreement comes up! great interview Lewis!

Oh man, this is the first time I’ve heard something by DeVon and I LOVE LOVE LOVE HIM!! The second that he came on I just got a sense of joy and started smiling. Seriously what a beautiful person. Love what he had to say! I had a big fight with my boyfriend of 2.5 years during the 3rd week of the quarantine, since we don’t live together and had different expectations of seeing each other. But that made us have some serious conversation and now I feel like I fell in love all over again and this has been amazing for our relationship and communication.

wow I watched it with my mouth and mind opened, you 2 guys have a great connection and the question about fear is so powerful. These are difficult times and I can't be more grateful to have on my side a man that loves me, completes me, understands me, tries to make me happy with small things. We were about to get married this June, but we canceled it due to the current situation. I was disappointed and thought this is a sight for us, so we should never commit to one another, but he made me realize marriage is not a must in a relationship but love, communication, respect are. So we postponed it. I really liked this video , in fact I watched everything you posted recently (luckily we have internet these days)

it's Karen, if it's Love you will know it and not have any fear or desperation about the other person not 100% loving you unconditionally. Unless one or both of you are not ready OR it is not the right union. Then you need to let it go and work on the only relationship you can control for 100%++ love and that is with yourself. Once that is overflowing the magic begins. If you have ANY feelings other than the feeling that the other person loves you unconditionally-release the relationship and the fear. There is no fear of the other person leaving or not loving you when it is right so if it is right it will happen if both parties are ready. I was in that wrong relationship for 3 years before I met my true love whom I have the gift of waking up next to for the past 29 years. When we met the 2nd time (the first time was 3 years earlier and only for a brief few moments with no connection/contact in those 3 years) the Universe actually pulled us together because the time was right! We were both in the place of 100%+ self love, 100%+ self worth so the confidence level was not at the ego level, it was at the level of overflowing self love where we both had so much to give that our goal was to give, with no expectations or conditions. It is possible for everyone to have this kind of love, take it from a couple who is together forever and the love grows more passionately everyday! Wishing you Great Health Abundant Happiness And Outrageous Love

It unconsciously tells another, “I am hearing you, I want to/DO understand you, it’s safe to show me who you are. “ && like Kimberly said it’s quite endearing to watch & always gets me smiling w/ you so thank you.

Men need to learn to keep their hands to themselves and girls need to learn if the guy is putting pressure on you to have sex then he doesn't respect you nor is really interested in who you are. If he isn't willing to spend time getting to know you and your mind, he isn't worth wasting your life on . Most men just want to communicate with their "piece" and women think they are special just cause the guy "wants" her. No, he just wants what he is getting, not YOU. Too much sex in this world is ruining people. Not opposed to sex, but everything has a right time and place= less broken hearts, less frustration, less blaming yourself or the other person. Most women feel love for a man way before men do.

The covid should be a time to know and love each other and be good as the chances to be promiscuous is not available and get loser to God and teach their children how to respect and love when they grow up. An opportunity for foing great things together without outside distractions or hindrances, with so much valuable time that would not be possible when not in together, because one or both are out working. Such a great opportunity to have free time to make love and get even closer to each other. I am shocked that some couples use this valuable time to indulge in domestic violence, instead of growing wiser and more loving and appreciative, and learning ways to make each other happy in bed, as well as learning and teaching each other, and if there are children, to grow better as a family and closer to God in prayer and love and knowledge.
