This is one of the best coastal walks in Britain!

I enjoyed it, it felt like quite a remote section and not very busy when I walked it.

Thank you 🙏 for sharing this lovely stretch of coast. We’re so incredibly lucky to live in Devon. Salcombe to E.Prawle is next on our to do list. We don’t do 21 mile days if we can help it, hats off to you.

Lovely area. I’m sure you will enjoy it. A few bits were close to the edge at times.

Stay positive mate & be careful of these coastal paths following yesterday's big subsidence/cliff fall at Sidmouth beach,my hometown😊

I hadn’t heard about the cliff fall at Sidmouth. So much of the path is currently being impacted by erosion.

21 miles is a good day, nicely filmed.

A bit further than my normal distance but it was what the guide book suggested.

Very good video. I was surprised to see how much the stretch before Gammon Point reminded me of North Cornwall. There were some really rugged cliff paths there 😮 21 miles is a lot in a day. But I guess you are used to these long days now 😊👍🏻

Yes the south Devon section has been more dramatic and reminiscent of some of the north Cornish cliffs. 21 is further than I normally walk but it is what is suggested for this day in the Paddy Dillon guide book.

Great video thats a fair distance in one day you deserve a pint or 2

Thanks Brian. I follow the itinerary in the Paddy Dillon guide book. Some of his days are quite a challenge. I am committed to following this guide now but if I do the path again I would likely split some sections.

I was also caught out by Gammon Head, believing it was Prawle Point. I was also caught out by the Nudist area at Strete as i walked down through the woodland and a chap in nothing but his sandals and a smile strode toward me. To spare any further awkwardness he did quickly put his shorts on 😅
