My favorite thing about Bradley, that I never hear anybody mention, is the fact that; during the height of the grunge movement. When most people were writing depressing, angry, moody music, Bradley barely ever strayed away from the Major scale lol… happy, upbeat, funny, braggadocios (in a good way). He was just, himself. What an original

When I found this video 10 minutes ago, I immediately looked at the technique of his picking hand because I wanna learn his strumming style so bad. There are lots of sudden triplets in his strumming that I love so much, but I never ever hear people use it.

@@kookadams85 i dont even understand how doing a lot of covers is a bad thing as long as you're bringing something new to the table with the cover and not just doing a 1:1 copy of a song, covering songs is dope! and you can do crazy stuff with it that the audience loves, one of my old bands used to do a ska punk cover of I'm Looking Through You by The Beatles, every crowd we played it for loved it everytime (not like i've played any huge crowds but still lmao)

@dmoneygc2086 Жыл бұрын
Sorry this reply took me so long, man, I know this because the show at the Tressel Tavern was on the 14th of November 1994, this video was recorded on the 10th of November 1994. So, they would have flown up there right after this. The Memories booklet describes picking them up from the Airport and Brad singing all the way to the venue and not stopping singing the whole night, this video I feel reflects the artistic boom state he was in at that moment in time that went on to make the Tressel show so unique and amazing.
