"Dad, can you make this a Buggy size rake" was one of the sweetest things I have heard. You and your children are just beautiful.

You know, my dad made several mini shovels, rakes, etc. for me when I was a tiny person. This explains why my first word was 'dirt', and why I continue to love gardening and squishing mud between my toes.

Ben &Meg..I’ve been a fan way before you landed in NC (As an NC native love u picked my beloved state❤)..I just want to say you define what the American dream is. A safe place to be yourselves and raise your family and live life with your values in peace and freedom. You don’t sweat over the “crap” like so many of us get caught up in. Like gotta have the perfect piece of land, or the perfect house, or perfect animals or perfect job etc…You guys are living a life worth living and what happens in life as you go along you deal with and move on. No dead lines to “keeping up with the jones” mentality. And all the while you are living a life most of us dream of having…a partner that loves you unconditionally, plenty of nutritional delicious food to eat, a warm clean place to lay your head at night, a beautiful family with so so much love. You guys are truly blessed beyond measure! Don’t change one thing about your direction in life! Blessings and much love from your biggest Western NC fan❤🙏🏻

I can't tell you how much I look forward to your videos!! I always watch it 3 or 4 times. Wish they could be longer and more often! Today was extra special as I've been very sick in the hospital. Found out I have Addison's Disease, which means my adrenal glands no longer produce the cortisol in my system and I'm on special meds now to put cortisol back into my body. It caused my potassium to be dangerously high and I'm at risk of heart attack. So from having a week's stay in the hospital, I can't express how much I enjoy seeing my favorite family's podcast today!❤ Please keep them coming as they lift this 70 yr old lady's spirits more than you will ever know! I've been with you since the CA days, so you guys feel like family to me.🥰 Much love from Terri over the mountain into northeast Tennessee!!!

@@cindykaye3152 Thank you Cindy Kaye!❤ I appreciate all the prayers more you'll ever know. When I got the ER the other night, they told my my potassium was so high (6.8) I was in the "widow maker territory" for a heart attack. My potassium just continues to elevate which is worrisome, but my doctor is keeping good checks on my levels. No more potatoes, bananas, and orange juice for me anymore as they are high potassium...and I loved them! Thank you again for your sweet note and prayers!🥰

When I watch your videos, just feel like I've been visiting younger friends (that I've never met and likely never will!) , learning and laughing along the way. Have said it before, but your down-to-earth, no hype, easy-going, no gimmicks or 'emotional' stuff are just lovely to follow. During one of the build videos, I was reminded of the herb garden established at the end of the home and thought, "Bet that got put on the back-burner" for a bit, then today it was a nice surprise to see you tackling it again! Lilliana (aka Buggie) just adds natural and unscripted joy whenever she pops into a video. Praying this evening for your family and that new baby yet to make his or her appearance! Oh....the pineapple chicken looked yuuuummmy..and we've made "deconstructed" kabobs for years as well after realizing some things either got overcooked or undercooked if mixed and took forever to prep it seemed, only to take it OFF of the skewer to eat!

I cannot count the number of times I have planned a meal only to find key ingredients had been snacked on before I could actually cook the meal. The herb garden is going to be lovely. If you decide to try to replace that pan, I think you will be sadly shocked. There were many things we left in California when we moved to North Carolina because we thought they could easily be replaced rather than move them. What we discovered was that the item was no longer available, was not as good, didn't have the same features or (more likely) was EXPENSIVE! We use a grill wok (perforated, high sided pan) to make our unassembled kabobs. Works great, very tasty. That chicken dish dish was, indeed, beautifully colorful.

That’s how I make stir fry, I add a large can of pineapple, a can water chestnuts for crunch, sugar snaps or the other pea pods, broccoli and carrot strips, sesame oil…then grated ginger and minced garlic and add House of Tsang Szechuan Sauce and their other sauce Classic Sauce I think (my brain is down for remembering), some crushed red pepper, a little cornstarch to thicken slightly. Serve over rice!

Have you heard of mock pineapple? It’s so simple and easy to can when you have an abundance of summer squash. I made a bunch of it and it’s been sitting, so I decided to get creative and used that in stir fry, making a “mock pineapple chicken”, essentially the same as yours, and it is SO good! Just a frugal idea if you guys actually end up getting any squash this year! 😆
