25:07 Lol at Garmin. Whoever wrote their Training Status algorithm is a clown. No acknowledgment of a base building phase. No option to use anything other than 7-day microcycles. 60 min recovery/easy runs are considered “unproductive” the day after a hard effort. It’s truly amazing. It’s a company full of athletes yet they seemingly don’t know the basics of training.

Hi, does anyone else use a lactate tester, just wondering as I dont think I know of any non elite runners who use them. I can fully understand why an elite would, but what about the rest of us mortals. Certainly tempting to buy one but not the cheap.
@nathansmith5041 Жыл бұрын
I have a friend who has one and we mess with it from time to time. Any sort of added data is only going to be beneficial for you, from elite to amateur. It’s what you do with it and how you use it that matters. We use it to measure threshold workouts on the track. Super useful info for dialing your hard efforts in. Do you NEED it? Probably not but can it help your training be more effective? Most certainly.
