I just love it how EVERY reaction video of this song is same in one regard. When the Sasha Grey reference comes, everyone clearly gets it but then just as clearly decides "Ok, I'll pretend I didn't get that."

for non italian speaking. "Falegn - amen" joke. Falegname is the italian word for carpenter , and they changed an hebrew prayer from "shema israel, Adonai elohenu , Adonai ehad" meaning more or less "listen israel, god is one , god is great" to "shema yggdrasill , Odinai elohenu , Odinai ehad" . I suggest to watchfrom Nanowar also Uranus, And the he noticed that she was a gargoyle, norwegian reggaeton and Polenta taragnarock .

Fun Fact: The Band Gloryhammer (who's (now former) lead singer Thomas Winkler aka Angus McFife sang Odin) confirmed that this Video is in fact canonical part of the Gloryhammer Lore after their third album For those that don't know: Gloryhammers music is pretty much one large Story. This would be the relevant part for this cameo: Angus McFife XIII was the king of the Galactic Empire of Fife (a fictious kindom from scotland that conquered the universe) and battled the evil wizard Zargothrax. After the destruction of earth in order to stop Zargothrax, both he and Angus fell through a interdimensional rift and ended up in an alternate universe, where Zargothrax conquered the whole Galaxy and Angus helped a resistence take him down. During the final fight, Angus gets stabbed with an enchanted knive that would turn him evil. To stop that, he decides to throw himself in a vulcano And than (according to the Band) he becomes Angus McOdin, the one and only Master of Ikea in the Nanowar of Steel universe

As of now, I've seen half a dozen of reactions to this song. What is great, is no two commentators react on the same things. For instance, you're the 1st to react to the Pippi Långstrump guitarist, which I completely overlooked. In fact, after watching 20+ reaction videos, I MAY get all the jokes/wordplays/references in the song...

Enjoyed your "insider remarks". :))) Good to have this band, their sense of humor leaves nothing sacred - but it pays major homage to our cultural idols AND musical gods. And these Italians can certainly play! All hail NANOWAR (OF STEEL)! P. S.: If curious who they "stole" their name from, listen to MANOWAR and RHAPSODY (OF FIRE). :)) The humorous guys give the "serious" over-the-top stuff of their godfathers a run for the money. \m/

Quick explanation. They are Italian and in the last part of the song they sing "Falegn-Amen". In italian "falegname" means carpenter, so they took "falegname" and combined it with amen, as a word play on jesus and odin (master of IKEA).

As a Swede living in the UK, I tend to go to the nearest IKEA mainly for the food, although since brex-shit, they sell less and less and when they do get something in, it sells out quickly. I used to work at Gillebagarn in Orkelljunga, making biscuits for IKEA for many years and at least they still seem to sell those so I stock up on a box or two for nostalgic reasons mainly, when I get a chance. It always feels like 'home' going to IKEA, their meatballs and mash with lingon is a must have meal in the restaurant.

I don't have any issues with horse meat either, but I think the issue was that it wasn't "declared" as such (or whatever the term is). Hell, I wouldn't have any issues eating dog or cat meat (and I really like dogs and _love_ cats) - as long as I knew beforehand that that's what it was. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@JBobjork
@JBobjork Жыл бұрын
@@Wolf-ln1ml The problem was also that since it wasn't declared you also didn't know where it came from. Race horses get a lot of antibiotics etc and would maybe not be suitable for food (since you don't want traces of it in the meat as it could cause resistance). So both that it didn't say horse meat on it and also that you could not trace the meat to its source since it wasn't really suppose to be there in the first place.

Idc this video is 4 months old I gotta share this story. When I was a teen in Florida we did a road trip to Orlando and the middle of the state is all horse and cow ranches. So me and my buddies stopped at some small town to get gas and eat. We went to a burger king and I kid you not there was a horse ranch right behind it and when we were pulling in a guy on a horse at the drive thru window lol. Ok that was all lead up to this. Me and my friends are sitting down eating and I jokingly said these horse burgers are great. My friend Alex without missing a beat said ya they are. And we kept up this dumb conversation till everyone left the place lol. Was like 20ppl which for such a small town had to be a solid percentage.

1:28 Just a shame cigarettes aren't treated in the same way. 6:55 The reason people were angry (as far as I remember it) is that it was mystery meat - As in it was meat that wasn't made for eating (I.E. animals that are used for sports, companionship etc.). Which means that it can be treated with things we don't want to get into us (E.G. drugs like Phenylbutazone), so it's illegal to treat livestock with. Horse meat in itself, as far as I can remember, is pretty tasty and can (could?) be bought as a sandwich-spread. 9:50 Some IKEA stuff is great, other stuff is less so, or at least was. 12:50 What'd you expect of a Smålänning? o.O
