No Julia I strongly disagree that this is perfect representation for Swedish songs. Sweden have a vibrant rich music fauna. This is just Mello music. Loreen I am totally fine with. But Benjamin Ingrosso was a nightmare and I think this will do better by the the public than Benjamin… but still. It is because mellfest always gets kind of mellow in a way. And exciting songs like Circus X, and artsist like Fröken Snusk or Smash Into Pieces who all produce solid performance in a not classical Mello way gets cast aside. Simple because Swedes have somewhat alligned to the international jury (since they are a part of choosing the winner) and also the kind of right balance song for a family entertainment. Since Mellfest is Fredagsmys on a saturday for the family.

I love our entry. It really screams Sweden. It has our typical Swedish identity like it or not. Who cares if the singers are norweigan, when it comes to their carrers they prefer Sweden. I understand why. And it really doesn't matter so much where it ends up in the final. But this is a great host entry imo.

Really beautiful melody, very modern song, high-quality choreography, really skilled and distinctive singers whose singing sounds really easy and crystal clear. They have their own style that stands out from the rest. There is also genuine joy and happiness that belongs to music.

I love the song and the performance but I'm a bit worried about them performing first in the final. It's a really good opening entry though but I fear it will be forgotten. But maybe I'm overexaggerating. Melovin from Ukraine got 119 points from the televote when being first in the running order so it's probably not impossible to get a decent televoting score, especially if the voting lines are open from the start.

The song is decent catchy pop, the performance from the twins is great, the staging is ridiculous. For me, though, it’s another one that falls too much on the music video side of video vs stage show. That can either be very successful (Loreen last year) or a massive flop (Benjamin Ingrosso) so it’s a tough one to call.

This is just a semi-copy of the 90’s dance floor. To many 12 years voting, for them this is new but… no. I heard it before. Yes it’s good, for the floor but in a competition that is about melody… I hope not. We can do much better. It’s time for all the old farts who rewrite the same f…ing song year after year after year…

I highly recommend that people listen to a high quality digital version with high quality headphones... the layers of sound in this song is truly mind-boggling. Beautiful production. Very proud and relieved that we are sending this to the Eurovision this year... as someone said... it's the full package - song, lyrical hook, and stage set that is insane. Do we have a chance this year?... Lots of ballads and semi-rock stuff this year (and the usual foetuses-in-WonderBras that think they can win on looks rather than talent)... Marcus and Martinus definitely stand out from the crowd right now.

Okay then, props to the stage production, but I don't like the song at all. I would have preferred Medina or Cazzi Opeia. I'm Swedish, but this year was the first year I didn't vote in the Mello final. I'm also a bit depressed that The Roop didn't win the Lithuanian final. Their song (Simple joy) was lovely! I wish they would compete in Melodifestivalen.

The 3 minute rule kind of cuts the legs of this song. It needed to be 30 seconds or 1 minute longer so i could build up to a bang instead of a whimper.

I think it is beautiful that they got their first international fame in Sweden as teenagers and now they are going to represent Sweden in Eurovision as adults! They are very charming in interviews which is going to make people love them and they got a huge fanbase outside of Scandinavia as well. It is funny that we got to host Eurovision and we welcome everyone with our cute (basically adopted) Norweigan twins haha.

It’s way better on tv than live. I was at the final and if you didn’t sit right by the stage then you didn’t se anything. We had to look at the big screens that showed how it looked on tv because the stage was just full of blinkning lights and stage prop. Also, people saying this is very Swedish. It is, and that’s why us Swedes are sooooo boring!

They seem like lovely kids, but something's not connecting here. As mentioned by a couple of you, the song's written right down to a formula, and everything about the (albeit impressive) performance seems extremely calculated, which unfortunately isn't a great thing. Doesn't feel genuine or authentic like some of other entries which spark joy. And if staging is the highlight, it reminds me a lof of Benjamin Ingrosso's in 2018 which finished near dead last in the final's televote, because as Danie points out, it removes the crowd and the joy they can bring.
