I don't mean to be a party pooper, but.... So I'm a Swede and I got the pamphlet like yesterday or something. It's not the first time they mail pamphlets like these to the people. I don't think that Russia is any way near ready to attack Sweden. If you think so, show me where that force is preparing. Where are those tanks and the artillery needed? Where are the fleet of warships? There is no such force at the moment and it would take them a good long while to amass one. Sweden did scrap 80 percent of our defensive capabilities during the 00;s and 10;s. I thing some people want the population scared enough so they can allocate the money to by new toys. Don't get me wrong, Russia is not a non threat, but nor is it an immediate one. We might actually be closer too a civil warlike state than a war with Russia. That's not very likely either. The generals are in a bull market and looking to cash out, so to speak. Anyway that's my two cents.

I see what your saying but from what I have seen and heard about this war. Tanks are going to be a thing of the past. To expansive. Drones are where it's at. And far more deadly and scary. And the can travel further and faster and don't use fual that Russia has issues with any ways

@shanegiggles2108 True, true, but it's not Russia that excell in drone use in Ukraine. Besides, they won't just hopp and skip right over Finland and the Baltic nations, and attack Sweden. All I'm trying to say is, that I don't like it when they succeed instilling irrational fear in people. We should be on our guard no doubt, but Russia is not standing on our borders ready to start a new invasion.

@@hzuiel Well it seems it came out in 2018. I remember when I was a kid in the eighties it came out like every year. Then we had this "there will never be war again" moment in the 90s-2000, and now it started up again. I've been going nuts finding a page saying when the thing has been going out to people, but have yet to find one.

Every man has the duty to his family to prepare them for any emergency. There are many things that can cause you to need stored food and water. I good storm can knock out power and it happens to many and that's why so many have generators now.
