The chance of getting sued here in Europe is very small compared to in the US. Therefor it´s easier to have less boarders. Architectures also have more freedom in creating parks/spots, stairs and building. Because the chance of getting sued if someone got hurt either walking, biking or skateboarding is very low.

So true. It´s TOO easy to get sued in America. :D

Also they're a modern country with actual healthcare. In the US I know lots of people who don't skate because if they get hurt they a) couldn't afford to get treated b) could lose their jobs and no longer be able to serve our corporation overlords

@@maxmonluxwow in Asia we look at America as being this really rich country , it's the first time I hear people live with that fear of not being able to afford healthcare

@@maxmonlux If you do a four year minimum in the US military or Coast Guard you receive a lifetime of top quality health care for zero expense and if you need to get an MRI or ct scan there is generally no waiting. Meds at zero cost. VA hospitals all over the United States. The ER is top notch

It looks like they put pool tiles just under the coping on wooden ramps?
@ZackDowdy2 жыл бұрын
I didn't notice that here, but I've seen it! (*At the skatepark it was sick)
@pierreandreassen2872 жыл бұрын
Yes we did! This year we put tiles under all the poolcoping on the streetcourse. We rebuild the streetcourse every year so it gives us alot of freedom to experiment with obstacles
@monstercadaver2 жыл бұрын
@@pierreandreassen287 That is so wild! Pool riders will feel right at home I guess. Having never tried ramps and pool that have it myself, what is the purpose of the tiles?
@monstercadaver2 жыл бұрын
@@ZackDowdy yeah well, you probably had plenty of other things that took up your attention 😅 I’m in Jutland, and as far as I know we have quite a few skateparks here.
@pierreandreassen2872 жыл бұрын
@@monstercadaver The purpose of he tiles are pretty much just look and feeling of riding over them. I belive it makes people more stoked to skate something if there is some extra feature that catches their eye! We also do brick patterns in the plywood riding surface just to give the ramps different textures in some places

Why is the skateboard announcer speaking in English? Is English spoken everywhere in Malmo?Great videos of this trip ✌️🏼
@Sjur_sm572 жыл бұрын
It’s probably an international event, much like vert attack, also hosted in Malmö, and Tjøme skategalla in Norway. Pretty sure there was something happening in copenhagen a few months back as well. English is spoken across all of scandinavia, so come visit. You’ll be understood.

Stan announces a lot of the Europe contest, I think english is preferred since it's most common across all countries.

@@ZackDowdyin general, can you get by speaking English only when visiting there? Looks like an amazing place to visit
