Stockholm is the capital of Sweden. It has the most populous urban area in Sweden as well as in Scandinavia. 1 million people live in the municipality, approximately 1.6 million in the urban area, and 2.4 million in the metropolitan area. The city stretches across fourteen islands where Lake Mälaren flows into the Baltic Sea. Outside the city to the east, and along the coast, is the island chain of the Stockholm archipelago. The area has been settled since the Stone Age, in the 6th millennium BC, and was founded as a city in 1252 by Swedish statesman Birger Jarl. It is also the county seat of Stockholm County.

The best part about Söder is you don’t get the feeling that it’s catering to tourists or outsiders even tho it’s very popular. It still feels very genuine. It’s the opposite of Gamla Stan and Drottninggatan.

This has been one of my favourite walks you have done! You have managed to capture the atmosphere in Medborgarplatsen perfectly and as this is an area that I plan to visit soon, showing some of the bars and eating places is really helpful as well! Tack :-)

Last time I was there it was 2007 ! I have been in Stockholm in the beginning of '75 and I worked in many kaint of work . Naw it's about fourteen year's ago to again in Stockholm! I kan say that I am fyll nostalgic....

Really loved this video and your insights into the best bars! You're not speaking too much! I love your thoughts on the city - the red light thing isn't just in Sweden. Here in the UK we will "risk it" rather than wait for the lights to change! Some nationalities are more impatient perhaps?

Love your channel and intention, although I don't know if your voice over/narration is adding up any value. In my opinion I like better just the filming with no voice, just the listening of the street noises would be great, so that the viewer can feel he is the one walking.
