You have such a sweet energy, and I love how clear and thoughtful all this information is 🤲 I’m going on my first solo trip to Sweden in a couple weeks and am so excited. Thank you so much! One question - what was speaking English like in Stockholm? Did you introduce yourself in Swedish or did you speak English right away?

I loved Stockholm. Spent 4 days there and it was lovely! I stayed at Scandic Hotel but it was very basic only. And yeah, I enjoyed watching how people dress over there. Hardly anyone in sweats like we see here. People make the effort and their style looks so classy.

SO classy! Yet minimalist. I couldn’t wrap my head around how they were doing it hahah. Stockholm is such a gorgeous city! I would really love to go back!

I feel like kanelbulle (cinnamon bun) is not given a proper shout-out😅 Swedes love cinnamon buns, and they (buns not Swedes, although they, too) are a staple at pretty much every fika. Gothenburg has a cafe with giant cinnamon buns, which are out of this world!

Lol I love IKEA too. I'm a diy-er so the store is right up my alley. I will say I got into a fight with a table top I was trying to fit in my car on a warm humid day on my last visit. The table top won and I had to return it so I could have it delivered 🙄. Amy - 0, IKEA - 1

The most important fact about Midsommar: The sun doesn`t set at all anytime (weather permitting). Thank you so much for not introducing Surströmming..... 😂

Oh wow really?! I thought that was only in places north of the Arctic circle. In any case the extra daylight hours are always appreciated!
