As a swede I'm dissapointed. All three swedish goals came out of stupid mistakes and there was nothing beautiful about none of them. Nigeria needs to be working on their defense but their attacking is deadly! Great passing picking the swedish defense apart... Go nigeria!

Matts Mossing Even when they parked the bus they couldn't keep Nigeria out. Most exciting game so far for me.
@mattsmossing
@mattsmossing 9 жыл бұрын
I wouldn't call it parking the bus, or else they need an instruction from the chelsea bus company.. The swedish papers are writing about several swedes getting muscle cramps, kovovare asliani(spelling?) was subbed after 10 min because of cramps. Sweden used up all of their subs and in the end a midfielder had to change positions with the central defender(who had "the cramps") just so the whole defense wouldnt be jeopardized by a player who couldnt move properly.. Still, Nigeria knows how to score great goals and that was the thing that made this game watchable.

The falcons blew their chances of having 3 points before meeting Australia and the USA. It doesn't matter what form the goals took, a goal is a goal. The Nigerian defence had off moments and they exploited them. That's survival. I wish the Nigerians would map out their error and correct them in subsequent matches

I called those African Royal Lions should have escaped from the dead group if the coach kept that line up against Australia when they played . If he did, this team would have earned crucial points even drew , then they would have been less pressure when they faced USA . Man !!! Look at that, how smart the girls are and have tactics and strategies.. well organized, and from start to the end they showed their world class performance.. I was so excited when I watched the match .. but I wish the coach had kept this line up .. poor coaching caused fatal to Lions. I hope they will come up better coach and better results near future since they have all in sets.. Man....

+Henry Tun Well said. That's the bane of soccer not only in Nigeria but in the entire Africa. There're so many talents, but virtually no support or good planning, especially from the government. I told a couple of friends that the girls could have gone to the tournament without a coach and still come out with the same result--or even better. Everything the girls did during the World Cup was absolutely their efforts. Don't be deceived when the coach talks about giving them any strategy--because he has none. I'm a Nigerian, and I know what I'm talking about. I have no clue what our clueless coaches are paid for.
