Salomonsson got hit with a suspension for the hit, while Celebrini didn't get a suspension for a very similar situation in the pre-tournament game. The review board needs to be consistent. Do both, or none of them. Clearly biased.

Check the last mens world championship. Latvia beat Sweden for a place in semi finals and then they beat USA for 3rd place. If you check h2h results Latvia vs Sweden, it’s actually not so often they get a beating.

Latvia lost 2:1 in a quite close game to Canada in quarterfinal. Canada went on and won gold in a very dominating way beating everyone comfortably. For a small nation like Latvia 3rd place, and not having their best team either, no Girgensons, no Bluegers, no Merzlikins. I think Latvia is a decent hockey nation all things considered.
