I'm a Bosnian immigrant living in Sweden, and I run a channel precisely to talk about all our insane political issues. I'd love to have you on some time, Mr Peterson. :) As for Ivar Arpi, he's one of my favourite public debaters. (Really not too many sensible ones here) I'm glad he introduced Sweden to you.

Angry Foreigner What do you think of the idea of actively encouraging otherwise secular people to “worship” (for want of a better word) ideal archetypes as an exercise in Psychological health, perhaps while taking LSD? Induce the positive illusion of feeling like a believer if not a real one. Or use a special machine that has the same effect with no side effects (but is rather pricy to mass produce). If this feeling is truly good for everyone’s health and absolutely essential to the health of most, yet at the same time you just can’t bring yourself to believe in any god (insofar as you THINK you understand “faith” and a LOT of people don’t have the first clue these days as the Doctor points out), then compensating for the negative physical effects of atheism should be a major public health concern. LSD must be legalized and perfected! Among the benefits is that people will stop converting to Islam, as they will feel meaningful enough to not need it anymore.

I have to wonder, just based on the wording of your comment +Edie Paul, if it was your husband's confidence and strength which you loved, or the way your husband was perceived by others, or maybe it was both. Please know I don't say that to disparage him, or you, in any way. My anecdotal experience, coming from a perspective where I too admire strong and confident men, is that they're often not liked or respected by others because of the difficult decisions being a man of strength requires. In fact it tends to be those who do not challenge or make difficult decisions which tend to be in positions of power, and thus by default it seems, admired and respected. In history, we're fortunate to have men such as Abraham Lincoln, who was hated by many during the time he was President, we have Beethoven, whose music was described as "indecipherable, uncorrected horrors" by a contemporary, and we have Jesus, who was hated by countless groups of people during his lifetime as he made many many people look bad. These men have since earned our respect, but during their lifetimes, it wasn't so clear cut. That's where I'm coming from. A quote which comes to mind... "It is always good men who do the most harm in the world." -Henry Adams

that point is kindof invalid mary, when humans lived interconnected with nature, they didn't have technology especially the industrialisation etc. if we'd somehow just abandon all what we had built and live in the forest again, with spears and occasional bonfires, or at least in small villages without electricity, we would do the nature a great gift. but that's a rather uncomfortable life. wait , i think i got baited by a troll ...

The patriarchal era that coincides with civilization has brought us into a world of total political, economic, and financial failure and corruption. With wealth disparity that leaves almost 8 million people in the world starving and millions more close to. Where we wage violent warfare for year after year with no end in sight, all in the name of “peace”. A planet on which 200 species are going extinct every day, and i see hardly any indication at all that people even care or even question the system at all that allows this to happen. Where everyone would rather whole species to go extinct rather than give up their stupid cell phones. Gaia is on fire and we’re well on our way to our own extinction BUT GREAT WE HAVE FUCKING IPHONES! So we can look at stupid shit all day and entertain ourselves to death, and completely ignore the murder taking place all around us. Our ancestors managed to live without all of our modern conveniences for the vast majority of human existence. I don’t think they were sitting around thinking , “I wish someone would invent a vacuum cleaner” they were too busy developing their spiritual selves, communing with nature, eating, having sex, making arts and crafts and utilitarian objects, gossiping, singing, enjoying life and community. It is a misconception that primitive life was “nasty, brutal, and short” they had FAR more free time than we do, and since they did not take more than they needed, resources were abundant. Actually I take it back the number was not 200,000 years actually according to anthropologist Maria Gimbutas, there is evidence of Goddess culture dating as far back as 500,000 years. With the transition from the hunter gatherer society to settlement and then civilization we turned from mother earth to the sky god, from unity with nature, to a critical observer and manipulator of nature, non hierarchical to hierarchical. The patriarchal view of nature is to slice it up and observe it. To categorize and take inventory of it for use. That is what this culture teaches us. That we have domain over the planet. That endless conquest is our destiny. That humans are supreme over all species on the planet. Patriarchal culture is deficient in every way. There its not much to be impressed about with the technological society that has come out of it, ESPECIALLY industrial civilization, as we are now seeing that is is actually killing the planet. Um and wtf does me too have to do with any of this, and i'm not your sweetheart.

If you don't like it start a wimmin's commune and for extra brownie points build an infrastructure capable of supporting men too, and invent a bunch of cool shit for them to buy at the shopping malls and work flat out so you can afford to chain a man to the kitchen sink all day while you go out to work. Sweden is an extremly modernism craving and trend sensitive country. Also very collectivistic so anything that becomes a sort of new norm gets a foothold very quick and each individual rushes to make statement that he or she has also indeed caught up with this trend and therefore acts impulsively and compulvisely to show that they are in, more often than not without a reflection of their own, or at most a very intelectually poor one. Being left out of the collective is the swedes greatest fear and when the ideas of the collective is controlled by a very small group it almost becomes a brainwash.

that is true, tho I see same happen in eg. Hollywood elite, CEO "sphere" of nordic countries (yes they change companies, even among these countries, but still are like little closed group), and sweden is kind of like big version of those special groups. It is very rare any human can avoid that normative pressure completely. It is always small group or individual who in the end "call the shots" to decide final point on things, be it teacher for kids, CEO in company, principal in school and so on. Democracy is interesting version of other example, that "ceo's of people " from many areas(geography often, or viewpoint) come together to debate and choose path.

I still believe Sweden Is ahead of many countries in many aspects, but It won't last Forever. I've seen this arrogance by political authorities during the refugee crisis (which was awful in both sides, I was in Hungary too and saw how desperate refugees were), I saw It recently with Tegnell's bashing of Italy (and Sweden Is Just behind Italy in Covid death per capita). As a person Who strogly dislike Sverigedemokraterna, I believe the Swedish left Is doing anything possible in order to bring them to power as soon as the conditions Will be Met.

American Men have to sign up for the Draft to Vote, that's not Equality. I'm quite aggressive with my speech. Because I want to get my points across quickly and effectively. Time is invaluable. I've done over 1,000 hours of Political and Philosophical research. I update this constantly. I make a '*Right Now' playlist for the videos I'm watching every day. A lot of my Research Material is in my 'Proof of Concept' playlist. Here's my findings. :) (There's also Fun Facts and Exercise Advice.) >One White Nationalist is Violent< *Reaction:* "ALL THESE VIOLENT NAZIS!!!!" >Islamists Behead and Enslave people consistently< *Reaction:* "That's not _all_ Muslims, you dumb bigot." This kind of thinking is what's causing Political Violence. The Founding Father's of America allow us, through their actions, to prevent larger Wars, with War. Like how Land Conquests between Countries don't happen much anymore. Ever notice that? We're basically trying to force the World to be Peaceful, (Canada Loves it), one death of a person that doesn't allow World Peace at a time. Who else does that? (Without forcing Religious Ideology) I'm not saying that the US should determine how every System of Government that exists across the Globe should be, or choose the Leaders. Just enforce Peace, and make sure Innocent Peoples Natural Human Rights aren't being Infringed upon. Nobody else cares enough or has the Resources. America keeps all the other Western Countries from being Invaded with Guns, so the EU Politicians are bringing in Violent, Child Raping, Gay Murders to replace the Populace. But I'm the problem... Why? The Gawds I worship are RNGesus, Kek, and Lord Gaben. That's my Holy Trinity. I bought 45 games including XCOM 2, The Witcher III, Crusader Kings II, PUBG, and Ark/w Scorched Earth for *$269.24* during the Steam Summer Sale. Or I could have gotten only 4 of those brand new. >;D False Rape Allegations ruin Mens Public and Professional lives. Being kicked from College for something you didn't do, and being brandished as a Rapist does ruin your life. The rule of thumb with Rape/Sexual Assault Allegations is first find out if the alleged Victim immediately Filed a Police Report, if not they're probably lying. Especially if many months have passed, or they try to ruin the Mans life directly- even though He did nothing and She knows that- on Social Media. Hoping the public outrage from the lie will make the cops have to find evidence, or they're perpetuating "Rape Culture" which only actually exists in Islam. Look it up- they have Sharia Courts that sentence Women to be Ceremonially Raped in front of the Elders. But America is clearly so oppressive. Retarded worthless Feminist bitches are going to get Millions of people killed if they keep trying to control the way everyone behaves while bringing Islam into the West. Don't say nobody ever warned you coherently without saying "The End is Near", but rather that things may get real bad. :') Democrats have had uninterrupted control over Chicago for 84 years. They have an average Murder rate of 36 People a Month. That's 432 a year, on average. Stephen Paddock killed 59. But all White people are evil racists for trying desperately to integrate non-white people into a Country founded on Merit, Skill, Freedom that comes with Responsibility, and Hard work. (Asians and Black people from Nigeria are some of the most productive and successful people in Western societies.) After years of giving Single Mothers Welfare and destroying the Black community, people still think just throwing money at the problem will work. People have to earn what they have or they never learn to appreciate anything. I has on Welfare before, 1/2 years. I know a little something about this. They destroy the Economy with Taxation and make it to where you need Welfare because there's no good paying entry-level jobs for young people in Democratically gridlocked places with shit like "Sanctuary Cities" where Libtard Mayors decide to not enforce the law, which in-turn displaces Natural Born Americans from working so they need Welfare. Socialism is a slime covered crater in the ground that opens up so you fall in to a bottomless pit of High Taxation, Social Degradation, and Welfare Dependence. It's all the White Mans fault no matter how much money we give them- even though there's Affirmative Action Laws that 'positively' discriminate to get more Women, People of Color, and Gay people into the work force. Which pushes Straight White Men out. It's not Racist to hate or discriminate against White people on the basis of skin color, that's absurd. It's 2017. This is a decent Workout Regiment for anyone. Do 100 Push-Ups, Sit-Ups/w 20lbs or more of Weight, Arm Extensions/w Weight (From Feet to Full Overhead Extension), Squats/w Weight, and Punching Exercises with 5-10lbs, punching with both hands for every number. In sets of 33, 33, 34 for one day, then just 1 Set of 34 every other day. I do this plus around an hour of Cardio- you don't have to Run- just Jog and Fast Walk, but Running burns Calories faster. YT only cares about you if you stay PC and don't say anything against something a Feminist says is good. Susan, the CEO of YT is a SJW. She had the YT Team program the YT Video Monitoring Algorithm to target Keywords in the Title, Description, and Tags of all videos Uploaded, even if they're not Public. Then Blacklist Channels and put most of their videos in a "Limited State," also known as Demonetize them if it finds anything it's been told to dislike. I believe many channels like popular Music don't have these limitations. You also have to have 1,000 Views a month on your videos before they qualify for "Manual Review," so you miss out on that Ad Revenue, and can't have videos uploaded a week in advance, in Private, so they could be Manually Approved before the viewer rush when the Notification goes out. Here's why I hate Religion. 50 people spend 3 hours a week performing actions to praise Gawd.=150 Hours. Multiply that by 4 Weeks =600 Hours, Months =7,200 Hours, then Years(Let's say 70) =504,000 Hours. Now start that equation with 1 Billion People. That's why I hate Religion. It's a Waste of Time. Search "American Inventors" on Google Images. All Plastic is made from Dead Plants and Animals- It's a Refined Material made from Crude Oil from inside Earth. All Consoles, TVs, Tires, Phones, and Plastic Utensils. All of it was made from previously Living things. Let's hope Scientists can't find a way to imitate that. It'd probably eventually be used for Horrific things, and help Destroy the Environment. Build the Wall out of Hard Plastic from Landfills and line it with Solar Panels! :D There are 3 things I know of to modify text on YT. _ , - , and * . _This,_ -This,- and *This. ;)* Everything inside the symbols will change, they must be only touching one side of one character, with both on the very end of what you're changing. You cannot have anything touching the outside of the Symbols. Observe. *1* , *1 * *1*. :) Just because something doesn't make you feel good, doesn't mean it's not what's better for the World. Being a World Superpower doesn't happen without Money. Neither does Socialism. 50% of Americas spending is on Social and Welfare Benefits, 25% on the Military, and 16% on Education. We have a $20 Trillion Deficit, and it's not because of War. Many more people would be dead if other Countries were allowed to act as they like, and the Military keeps Americans Employed. I realize America isn't perfect. California has Income, Sales, Fast Food, $1.00 on all Cigarette packs, Alcohol, Vehicle Luxury, Property, and as of 10/31/17, an extra 12¢ per Gallon Gas Tax. Gotta pay for those Single Mothers one way or another, to prevent them from beating their Men/Children into a Rioting frenzy to burn down the State. 8.5 Million jobs across America are held by Illegal Immigrants. America isn't a natural Capitalist system. It's been tainted by the Government with overreach. True Capitalism is Contract Law and Property Rights, with minimal Taxes and Regulation. That's Capitalism. Marriage has become a raw deal for Men, a Man can be Cheated on, Abused, Arrested for False Allegations after a Woman is Upset with him, have his Children taken from him by the Mother, be kicked out of his own House Legally, and have to Pay Alimony for her to live life because of Family Court Bias. Feminists are adapting and creating Laws that fit their Narrative. They're changing the way Children think with In-School Indoctrination (Safe- Schools Program), and trying to eradicate Traditional Gender Roles. There are Sexual Orientations, not creatable Genders or Sexes. There are Males, Females, Hermaphrodites, and Trans people. So there's people with natural born mutations, and there are also Trans people, but those aren't new Sexes or Genders. They transition from either Male to Female or Female to Male. That is Trans-itioning. Facts, Logic, Science, and Observable Reality are all Tools of the Patriarchy. :') There are Islamic Grooming Gangs that Rape European Women and Highschool Girls, typically for not wearing a Hijab and not being Muslim. I just don't want Women to be Raped. But no, I'm clearly "The Patriarchy" and oppress women by being a Straight White Male. I'm the same species as inbred child rapists. This has nothing to do with Race. It's _all_ about how people behave. Why the fuck are so many Western people too blind, stupid, and sensitive to conceptualize and confront reality? Hiding from these things allows for Women to be Raped and Murdered. But you probably dislike ME for just talking about it and trying to solve it. Muslim Rapefugees/Immigrants negatively impact Western Culture and Civilizations on a Net scale. Islamists will Kill, Convert, or Enslave everyone you know if given the chance. 50% of British Muslims wouldn't Report a Terror Plot if discovered. Enjoy the Cancerous and Useful Knowledge you now know. :D

Jordan you've done so much good for your viewers, I just wanted to say thank you. Also I (and a great many others) truly appreciate your fight to maintain free speech. If you're so inclined I believe a video discussing Net Neutrality would be very welcome. I understand it's being done in the U.S. however it seems geared up to be possibly one of the largest attacks on free speech we may have ever had. It is not only the U.S. internet users who are at risk but rather this will very likely have a ripple effect across the whole internet and the world. Please bring this topic to light. As a swede and a collage student i feel like this video is just great. First of all i like to see a critical perspective of the whole situation in Sweden of identity politics and political influence in academia. Also, I like this Ivar guy because most of the journalist and news outlets in Sweden are radically left and absolutely fanatical about political correctness. I would go so far as to say that the Swedish news outlets are a mayor cause of political instability within the country because it over represents radical left opinions. This video is truly a breath of fresh air for me. Please, keep up the good work!

We Swedes really do want to know. Atleast the few, but growing number of us that worry what all the marxism and identity politics within our system will lead to. We've gone further down the rabbit hole than any other country I'd say when it comes to this stuff. I mean gender studies or "gender science" is written into law here for christ sake. It's mandatory! Political policies are heavily influenced by non-science! "That's not good.." to borrow a phrase.

Hello what about women proposing sex for career advancement ? wearing aggressively sexy dresses, acting seductively etc. Wouldn't it be considered a form of female sexual harassment in other cultures ? I think there is an unrecognized unbalance in our culture : complete tolerance for women's sexual behavior, zero tolerance for men's. This inbalance is in complete contradiction with the equality principle.

I am too old to be at Uni now so i have a question for folk. Do the feminists who are straight slowly change as they get older? They must want a mate who is a man and there is a good chance they will go on to have sons. Does this alter their outlook or is the ideology so imbedded that young feminists go on to be mature feminists with weak husbands and sons? Also if a trans person wants to go from female to male do they get questioned as to why they want to join the patriarchy?

Yes! An older video I found, but love to found out someone from my country has spoken with Dr Peterson ( although I am a bit jealous and wish I was that person🙄🙂) The problem with Sweden is that the people we notice are the Political correct. Most other stay quiet, because we are afraid to be "different in an unfashionable way". It is much indoctrination. I have two sons. My oldest finished school two years ago. In his school there were still some space for free opinions and critical thinking. Even if the student were directed towards a certain direction. Now my youngest son attending highschool. It is a different college but it is insane how much it has changed in only two years. He was writing an essay about feminism arguing against the type of feminism we see in the west today. I read it and I will not say that he "gave his all" in it that time, but it was a good essay (he is quite good in writing) He should at least have had an average grade. But he did not pass it. I don"t remember the "excuse" but he realized himself it was because of his standpoint more than his skills. Then he spent three full day, almost without break, morning to night to rewrite it. He put alot of work into it, because he is a perfectionist and very self critic. He toned down his arguments alot. It became a very "light" opposition towards feminism. It was something of the best he had written. A very good essay. Well now he got average grade, and I know he would have got higher if his arguments had been for feminism. I know it because I've noticed a pattern. It starts to look. more and more like indoctrination. And it has sneaked in so much in just a couple of years. It is a collective indoctrination in school, in mainstream media and in culture And society becomes more and more confused and chaotic.

At 28:25, he says many young boys in Sweden are confused what it means to be a man, but I can tell you what boyes AREN'T confused about being a man, its the immigrant kids, because they are still raised to be little princes and kings. Its shocking, the difference in how native Swedish boys are raised, and immigrant kids, that are given incredible leeway with behavior, and confidence.

Here in my feminist utopia area I can see some fun but sad stuff. Once I walked by a football stadium, there was young kids aged 9-10 having their training. They had tre coaches, two of them were males and one was female coach. Haha..They had a competition. I hear the two males yell somthing like, "gogo come on guys lets see who gets first" and then the female coach said "no, there is not the one that comes first.. Everyone comes first" the male coaches were totally silent.

This really speaks to me as a Swedish young male. Just like this guy I spent years escaping real life with video games. Lots of self hatred (bad grades, why are you not like your older sister, who gets all As?). I felt that my existence has only led to shame and pain from my doctor parents. These thoughts led to depression, trying to decrease the length of my life by getting really fat and generally living a unhealthy life and eventually suicide attempts. A friend of mine was a NEET like me, who had a similar toxic thought scheme and we used to play videogames from time to time. He died from an overdose of antidepressants. I remember wishing that I was as brave as him. Now I've found meaning through Jesus. God bless!

.... Det är ett löfte
