Everyone is fine but a lot of material damage. Miraculously our property is unscathed! We bought our cabin back in the summer of 2012 and use it often...

Happy Monday, Diane! Way back in 1981 I made a day trip to Sweden, taking the ferry from Helsingor, and had a picnic in an astonishingly beautiful beech forest. We don't have beech trees where I live. The reality was so much more awe-inspiring than I had imagined from reading books... the light coming through the layers of tender green leaves... aaah! Loved your tour, thank you!

Thank you for the tour of your sweet little home! Im I'm so glad no one was hurt, and you sustained no damage to your cabin! Last summer our daughter's next-door neighbor's home was struck by lightning, and the subsequent fire caused considerable damage. My daughter and son-in-law were temporarily evacuated, and some of the siding on their home melted, but it could've been so much worse! Very grateful everyone is safe!

I always find it so interesting to hear how different cultures say certain words. Where I come from (the American Midwest) we say "rummy-cube" rather than "rummy-cube." Either way, it's also a vacation game for my family along with the game boggle.

Thanks for the tour of your summer house as you decluttered! I continue in the declutter mindset, and have two small boxes ready for the charity shop. Two pairs of shoes, a couple of shirts, and several home decor items. It's Memorial Day in my country, and I'm thinking of my platoon-mate, Herring, who died when we were on a field manuver in the spring of 1975.

I am so happy that your beloved cabin is okay. I have houseguests coming this week and found myself to be a bit anxious this morning. Your cabin is how I'd like my small bungalow house to look. It's so calm and restful. I spent some time today decluttering souvenir items from a small box in my closet. Thank you for showing us round your cabin - it is lovely. We visited Stockholm last June and loved it - we took the ferry around the archipelago and stopped off at Vaxholm and had a wander - there were lots of pretty homes there. We also visited Malmo for a day by train during our trip to Copenhagen in December - was very excited to go across “The Bridge” Today I’m decluttering our dvd drawer and I’m staring to listen to our CD collection again and declutter them .

Cabin is lovely. I went to a plant swap in a shop called Refill Mill were U can refill all Ur wash up liquid & detergent etc. I potted up lots a plants that had self seeded & exchanged for herbs which I repotted into larger pots. Gave charity shop a load a shopping bags. Cora from Mullingar, Ireland. 😊

What a beautiful place you have in Sweden! Very cozy and bright! We have been declutterring to donate boxes to some friends who are in need of them. Our area was hit by 3 tornadoes early Sunday morning and some of our friends’ homes were heavily damaged. Thankfully our friends were not hurt. We pulled 12 boxes out of our closet (they’ve been in there since we moved here in 2022). We decluttered down and were able to empty 8 of the 12 boxes! It always feels so good to get the clutter out!
