Yep, excitement and confusion is the correct response to a MtH song :) The song is basically about an awkward/shy teenage boy who finds himself on a beach (in Europe I think) surrounded by girls in bikinis and he doesn't know how to approach any of them. He's heads telling him one thing his body is screaming another. The song is basically all those emotions and thoughts (both good and bad) running through his head while his trying to figure it out. So I from what I'm getting in the video is, the party is what is actually happening and the black room is the struggle going on in his head.

@@reacttojoy8347 I'm not sure why they did it but before they released their last album (back in 2013) they removed all of their previous videos from KZbin. So all the videos they have up now are from that album onward. They have since put up a new version of Koi No Mega Lover on their channel under a new (all Japanese) name: コロナナモレモモ 『恋のメガラバ』 Still it is sad all the other old videos are gone, they were awesome!! I think they were taken down cos Ryo (the guitarist) didn't direct/design them and he has all the current ones. I could be wrong though.

These are fairly stupid sinple lyrics (beach song), no regional 表現. You don't understand it not because of the language, but either because you are old, cannot hear or are ashamed. Or matbe you dont want to. My mother "doesn't understand" punk rock in my language either. They did sold millions in Japan with nobody here understanding the lyrics ? バカじゃない？何歳なの？

The story is basically about a awkward teenage boy stuck in a beach party, the song tries to encourage him to try to make a move and get rid of that V-card he got. Until the end where he finally got enough of all the awkwardness, he decides to vent out his inner shyness and try blending in with the party going all out (you can see him during the end part dancing in front of the crowd)

I found MTH when I watched Death Note. They have some nice songs but I know I will never understand the lyrics. =)

In Japan it used to be a beach song. Let's go to Shonan, let's party, nothing too serious. I had the best memories in the back of a convertible somewhere around enoshima in the 2000's
