I made all these mistakes when I was there and I noticed during the reaction and I adjusted the shot during the trip... this video captures everything very well and Carolina is very good at explaining it. It's not easy to relate to Brazilians, they are a right mix of emotions and various contradictions that must be cared for and respected, sometimes I thought I was nice but instead it was the opposite... I certainly can't say who is right or wrong, they are different cultures and we are guests and therefore we must adapt .. Brazil and in particular Rio we love you! ❤🇧🇷

1) If Brazilians complain about their society / government NEVER EVER join in. Either STFU, tactfully change the conversation, or say something positive about Brazil instead. 2) NEVER EVER negatively compare and contrast Brazil with any other country (especially their big rival Argentina) i.e. don't say something negative about some aspect of Brazil and then state something along the lines of "when I was in Argentina it was totally different". 3) This advice manly applies to Europeans (who love to complain) unlike Americans who tend to be super positive people anyway.

For those that genuinely want a long term relationship or wife up a caring brazilian lady here is my advice: If you are looking for a long term relationship with a caring feminine lady, of course you can find it! There're plenty out there ... but you gonna need to be a little patient and that's the reason why: "gringos" tend to attract more the girls that "just want to have fun" at first glance, because the "long term relationship" girls would bet that you just want to have fun with them, as well... so, the "marriageble" girls tend to avoid you guys at the first moment, unless you make clear that you have good intentions and that you're a "family oriented guy".

What I can say is many want just kinda casual seeing thing. Sleeping with many at same time if you want this sure it s fine. But if you want a relationship serious don't give up the goods on first date . This is why so many people are cheated on single lonely unable to be faithful. I'am born and raised in Sweden with croatian origin (my parents are from Croatia). My dream is that one day visit this huge country to experience their culture, diversity, food, the positive vibe and people. I would love to find my soulmate and date a brazilian girl because I think they have everything what a man is searching for in a future relationship. Despite that I'am very introvert and not very social by nature so can I adapt easy with people like latinas because the culture in Croatia and Brazil are nearly the same and both nations are social, hospitable and passionate in what they are doing. Furthermore I can be sensitive and very affectionate and sensual man if I'm feeling comfortable with that person who I'm talking to. Brazil is very different to when I went in 1999, I was 24, it was very much more laid back.. women were slimmer, even though they are are still and very much less westernised. You have to realise that the amount of women to men is crazy. I was young and slim then so finding women wasn't hard. I ended up marrying one, one of my later visits I met her, married for 18 years. Their attitude to relationships is different to other countries, they are more freer I should say, they talk a lot about passion and love but most of it is just talking, let all women they like the idea of love and exciting relations than being in one. Tell them you love Brazil and love Brazilian women as a whole and you will be fine. They are incredibly jealous, but I think that is more to be their ego and most importantly, they are always late to everything, so if going on a date go pick them up. They don't understand how rude being late is in other countries.

@123guilhermina3217 ай бұрын
Yyeah the arrogance is a /huge/ turn off lmao. And don't think we can't tell when you are trying to be subtle about it but still think your culture makes you superior to us, lol. Overall, brazilians tend to be very open towards being friends with people coming from other countries (and that can then possibly develop into something else), but if you're not humble, willing to learn and genuinely interested in us and in the culture, you won't make it. Brazil is famous in the internet for bullying influencers/internet personalities that talk shit about our country/make xenophobic or racist remarks about us out of the internet, lol. We have a lot of pride in our culture and collectively feel like the way it’s seen outside of here is ridiculous and very off the mark, so you're really not going to get away with disrespect. About irony: we actually use a lot of it, but considering the language and cultural barrier, there's a considerable risk that what you find okay might be seen as offensive or just in bad taste here. Play it safe in the beggining until you start getting the feel of the culture here.

This video talks about the subject "Gringos". But i wonder what's the take like to Asian people in particular. Will Brazillian girls will have less interest to non Gringos?

Hi my friend. Good video, thank you for the upload and all the interviews. I think this will help guys a lot to understand the brazil people. But I have a question, and maybe an idea (you know me 🤣) for a new video. As you know... in thailand there are also many ladyboys. Sometimes its hard for a tourist, to recognize these persons, because they look like beautiful girls, on the first look and on the second look,,,,and mostly when you date "her" the surprise comes sometimes late in the hotel room! So all the world knew, that the ladyboys in Brazil same famos and beautiful, and hard to detect. What is your experience after partying so long all over brazil??? This happend to you, also? 🤣😂And what about the society?? In thailand the people respect these kind of people, because they are a history and part of the culture! Same in brazil, because there a a open community?? Thanks for the answer! greetings from the cold germany.
@SwedishGringo4 ай бұрын
Haha, that would be a very complicated video to make. No such ladyboy culture in Brazil but Rio is the most liberal city and therefore has more transpersons than other cities. Not really had any surprises but it’s important to read the bio carefully if online dating
@sharky94934 ай бұрын
@@SwedishGringo thanks for the answer, and yes could be complicated...I thought about it, because a friend of mine met some transperson in Recife in the 90th. In this bar which he went, were a lot...So good luck...😃

I gotta be honest, things have changed down here. It’s not what it used to be, the women used to love gringos now it’s more like an annoyance. I blame channels like this and passport bros, it’s not totally ruined, but it’s on its way to being the next Medellin

I think you’re jumping to conclusions here. Brazil has far less tourists than Colombia, and outside of Rio you can go days without hearing anyone talk english. How do you mean I’m to blame?

Respect tastes better than attention, women are finally getting concious that some behaviors are not just cultural shock, but red flags about douchbags in different languages. The channel is just spreading knowlege.

@@carolinabarros7830 I was in Rio 3 years ago and it felt pretty easy to start conversations with the girls here. I just got back and there feels like a vibe of like fuck me for even saying hi. I feel uninspired to even approach here, mostly just get rejected without even any conversation. I truly love Brazilian culture and the vibe down here, that’s why I visit. But maybe you’re right, too many douchebags have ruined it for now. I don’t blame the girls, I’d be annoyed too if it was constant. I’m all for respect, by the way.
