I love using my comfey as a killer by using calm mind or decorate with alcreamy, give it big root so it won't really die then give in draining kiss and mega/giga drain w/ tera steel and with its ability triage it can go before some moves like fake out or even E speed.

Honestly with crits doing x1.5 damage and maxxed evs/ivs toxaplex has an effective base 107.5 special attack stat at level 50 which is actually pretty respectable, especially when firing off 130 base power no drawback moves. You could probably go for a hybrid strategy where you drop 1 coverage move for recover so you still have a lot of staying power but can still dish out lots of damage.
