Sweeping my chimney with Amazon chimney typhoon power brush sweep
So I cleaned my chimney using the Amazon chimney typhoon and the results were amazing, I was so surprised as to how much soot and dust came out. I also changed the fire bricks inside my log burner multi fuel stove which has made a massive difference to the performance of the burner.

When you do the fire cement do it flush to the collar. The “wedge” fractures at the thin edge then travels.

That type of chimney set is OK for straight chimney s any bend in the flue and those pop clips can open

Hey up. How do you find whether your policy allows you to self clean the stove?. I’d be very interested to do it myself. Man after my own heart haha 👍 brilliant work

You need a certificate from a registered sweep to cover your insurance
