I use your rice tip all the time! I make a huge batch of rice in our rice cooker, and then portion out and freeze. Makes it so much easier when you want to add rice as a side!

Noreen, can you make a few of these recipes with five ingredients or less? I'm on a fixed income and can't afford to buy different ingredients, but I love these prep freezer meals! 💕💕💕

Most of them have fewer ingredients than this one. You can check out the playlist in the information bar. I am not probably going to consciously do 5 ingredient or less videos. You can always adjust the recipe to suit your needs. This one for example you could just purchase sweet and sour sauce in a jar instead of making your own. That would eliminate the sauce ingredients. Hope that helps.

I got this information from a friend who was of Asian decent. His mom always said to freeze the rice while hot so it does not get gummy and when you thaw it out it will be like you just made it. I can attest to this practice and have never had a problem!
