I know it’s been a long time since you posted this video. Somehow the numeric measuring are kind of confusing. And I ended up making the bread hard like cookie dough twice. I followed all the instructions as said. None of my ingredients are expired. But idk why the dough is hard and like cookie dough

You probably need to knead the dough longer. You can look up other YT of how to know when the dough is good, but basically, the dough should be elastic, plump back to shape when you press, plushy, and smooth. The kneading helps to aerate and create gluten which helps the structure of the bread. I have had to do so many trial and errors to achieve the result without a stand mixer and it takes a while.

Can you tell me what I did wrong I made mines but it seems like Mines was hard I’m not sure if it was the yeast how does the yeast work do we want it to be in warm water or just cold .. When I left my doough for one hour and it did not rise it still the same size. The dough was not soft did I not kneed it long enough can I use a kitchen aid to help mix it

Make sure the yeast not expired, sometimes it's not good to use if you open the lid on so long time. You need to knead the dough 35 to 40 minutes if use your hands until very smooth. You can use a machine that would be nice. * use egg yolk mix with milk, brush on the top of the dough before bake. Maybe your oven is hotter then mine so you can decrease your temperature little low to bake the dough. After the you take out of the oven, you can brush some butter into the dough it will help the dough not too dry after that

Like I feel the yeast did not double the dough it was still flat. And when I bake it was still flat did not seam like bread to me it was like cookies texture but hard . I will try next time again

@@maixiong6269 you should use warm water when you mix. And right now it's the cold weather so you covered don't let it have air then put it on the warn place. You can rest it for 2 hours until the dough is double size os

Are you sure it's right? Two tablespoons of yeast n two tablespoons of baking powder? It's a lot compared to the two bags of yeast n two baking powder.
