Thank you, David, for sharing yourself with us. I appreciate you!

It fits. The fit is in the 'being'. Who are we if we're not ever inside ourselves, in the 'being'. Creativity floating overnight, is undisturbed. Pure, still, freedom.

I have always loved the night. I always felt so much more alive and quiet and myself. What I love about this reminder is the sheer necessity of unknowing to come into harmony. When my eye is stuck on my bellybutton I lose all perspective. The problem grows and gains energy and I become unsafe. Thank you David for being a voice that I truly can hear. Thank you for the reminder. My vision needs to be beyond the self.

So true.....'we are a different person in the night' .....'it's time to go into the dark where the night has eyes to recognize its own'....beautiful.

Thank you for sharing this 🙏 That bit about being 7 or 8 years behind who we have become had quite an impact on me when I listened to the 3 Sundays a couple of years ago. I wish I could have kept the talks, so I'm delighted to at least have found this bit and the poem on KZbin 😊

Yes it is different at night time, but for us we notice that during prayer if our meals are in the evening because we call our attention to that which we are thankful to in nature. Therefore night time attention is given to just the sky alone as the land is no longer visible, but when those things that live in it are prominent they will illuminate the ground and source of where our meal has been grown.

Yep. Thank you. The hyperbole radiates light from the center, but also the light returns from the other side of the center to and through the center. The "light" returning is moving to the darkness of the center. The individuated awareness sees this as destruction, but it is also the return to oneness and is where the indescribable contentment resides.
