The term core memories are used so often these days but I could hardly recall anything from my childhood that can be positively labeled as core memories. This video reminds me when I was 6, my dad took me to the neighbor who was selling sticky rice cake. It was my first time trying sticky rice. Now hundreds of thousands miles away from hometown, the smell, texture of the sticky rice and the excitement of the little girl all came back to me instantly. Thanks for helping me remember the fond memories ;)
