She’s cute, intelligent and suffers from the same confusion of her generation. Let me give you youngsters some advice from an elder. Ladies, it ok to want to young man who is a provider. But realistically, most eligible young men don’t make enough money to support a family solo. As a young working couple, you can accomplish do together if your both working towards the same goal. If you want to man that can support you 💯 percent from the jump, you need to date older.

This is so interesting because I was a housewife/ stay at home mother. My ex husband was active duty army at e-5 pay. He supported me and our son, but I paid for my own clothing. This was in 2019, but I drive a bmw and we took two vacations a year, date nights, etc. All paid by him at 27 years old. It’s not impossible but then again our rent and utilities were less than 1200 monthly. I think she has to be realistic, we didn’t have the luxury home but we were comfortable . Most army wives are stay at home mothers, and they were not drop dead gorgeous either. I also think women put their foot in their mouthes by being so pressed about the provider talk. It’s a red flag to a lot of men now. My ex had no problem fully providing because I met him while I was in the army, he went from e-4, to e-5 in no time. Which means he was on the way up , and wasn’t my retirement plan . If keke doesn’t lead with the money only and make it so high on the list of priorities I think she could get the guy she’s looking for.

@@obinna202 yea, that may be true. But I don’t know the COL in most major states. Tailor the text to your state. We lived in the south, and I still do. Most homes( apartments) in my city are between 1200-1800 monthly for basic 2-3 bedroom floor plan. Also, the military raises the basic cost of living stipend to meet the cost of living in that city. Again, it’s possible to live on one income based on my observations as a former service member and being married to one. Not everyone is capable of providing for various reasons, nor will every one experience that, and that is not lost on me. However I have seen many men do it and these were young African American men with African American wives at that. Be blessed 😇 Update: BAH for Miami Florida is $3,500 a month at e-5 pay, that’s not to include a service members basic pay or meal allowance. If keke is open to being married to a service member, and positions herself accordingly she and him could live very comfortably🥂

All we ask for is chaste(or close), feminine and respectful women. My wife was a virgin when we met (we found out together what vaginismus was 😅) - she was in debt even though she worked as an IT sales woman- I ran a fixed income trading desk making a little over 265k before bonus, i didn't mind paying all the bills as she was worth it (chaste, feminine and a Naomi campbell lookalike😅)- she stopped working after we got married, then a few years later we started an IT consulting business together, that focuses on government contracts. Now after 20yrs in business, with over 40 IT engineers, 10 sales reps and 30mm in revenue, her income eclipses mine- she never approached our relationship with entitlement, and she knew what was important to a man like me - wasn't income, just self control (via purity) femininity, and respectful

Because social media has started a push towards women (Not all) wanting to apply gender roles. Which is why the outcry of "Protect and Provide" has been happening. This show has really opened my eyes. Most Black people have never seen a real marriage I guess. It’s not like on tv. The “traditional” thing never existed off of television. All my White friends work and so did their mothers. It’s just so weird to need your life to be like tv. Almost all my married friends of all races pay a cleaning lady at least once in a while and have help with their kids. I and my husband both have fulfilling, dream careers that we have built and our babies are not in daycare and are home with one of us because I have earned a full time salary working part time, but I built that. My husband washes dishes once in a while and I enjoy cooking. But life is not a tv show. I know a neurosurgeon whose wife is also a physician. Geniuses are not looking to date dumb bunnies in real life. It’s just not real life. Usually people marry into shared intelligence levels and socioeconomic status, and no offense, but people as hot as them. Usually water seeks its own level. Even Clair Huxtable was intelligent and accomplished. Maybe get a life that you actually feel fulfilled in and you will most likely marry someone else that also lives that way. But you have nothing in common with a successful person if you’re not also successful. They would obviously find you boring. Think more Amal Clooney than “I’ll just work at Burger King and a brilliant attorney will just marry me and give me a lifestyle I have not earned.”😂 You can’t think smart people will just hand you the fruits of their success cause you threw some wings in an air fryer.😂 what are you bringing to the marriage that can’t be paid for at $17/hr?
