I tried it. I added less sugar to suit my taste. It tastes really good. Faster to make than carrot halwa . Thanks for sharing this recipe

Where are these sweet Potato's from? In India ( Kolkata) our sweet potato is not orange colored, it's white like an ordinary potato and slightly sweetish in taste.

how this is orange colour , I have seen this first time, or you are putting colour while cooking ? just roasted sweet potato on directly on metal tawa without oil nothing also try , it's very delicious test, actually we should get good quality sweet potato plain like normal potato, without thread like something inside sweet potato. which is disturbing while eating, but we have one vegetable selling grand mother she is giving good quality plaing sweet potato.

Although the soft, orange sweet potato is often called a "yam" in parts of North America, the sweet potato is botanically very distinct from a genuine yam (Dioscorea), which is native to Africa and Asia and belongs to the monocot family Dioscoreaceae. To add to the confusion, a different crop plant, the oca (Oxalis tuberosa, a species of wood sorrel), is called a "yam" in many parts of Polynesia, including New Zealand.
