I think it's more the chance of failing is greater, at least with the old LG roster you have consistent placings. For how "big" sweet is, he really hasn't had the success on lan/hasnt really done anything apart from that 2nd place. The business aspect that gnaske talked about is true though.

LG's new roster sucks. There's no way around that. Fuhhnq and Slayrs are nowhere near as good as previous NRG rosters. Nafen as a sub is criminal. Sweet thinks he's way better than he really is. Yes from a viewership standpoint this roster will do better than the previous LG roster but this new roster has zero chance of winning a championship.

My thoughts as a long time Sweet fan: he comes off as an ass when talking about drama and his mental/comms when not succeeding is toxic af, but he still is factually the most succesful igl outside of Hal and Zer0 (the only others even in the conersation are probably Nocturnal and Hakis). Yes there are plenty of situations where he handles things differently then he should, but at the end of the day he's human just like the rest of the pros. If Hal is the Tom Brady of apex then Sweet is the Aaron Rodgers. Hes not as well liked, hes a bit rough around the edges, but man he is still talented at what he does. I have doubts about this LG roster, but we'll have to wait and see what actually goes down in pro league before we can really judge these roster moves. I for one cant wait to see what happens. Whether its winning, loosing, or sending Sweet into an early retirement, it's bound to be entertaining.

sweets problem is that he is saying like HE got all those top places but in apex you have 2 more players and the synergy is important, so if he said he placed better than lg last lan then it doesnt really matter since ITS NOT SAME TEAM but LG team is same and sweets new team hasnt proved anything yet. So either ur a fanboy of those teams or just sheeps who doesnt look at the bigger esports picture of Apex. NRG has won a lot of 3rd party tourneys agaisnt ALGS teams. I think the job of pros is to win as many tourneys as they can and not just ALGS. Do I think ex-NRG was better than TSM or DZ? Definitely not. @@190daes he did get 2nd in 1 ALGS Lan right? And that came with the most points as well. That's 2nd out of all the 80 teams of pros who are most definitely better than all the haters here. A lot of people think, including me, that the ex-LG is a monster of a team, but none of them has achieved what Sweet has. Even though he is cringe af, he has given results more than any other IGL aside from Hal and Zero. Dont get me wrong, I also think that the ex-LG is better than the current LG. But only time will tell if that will remain so if given the same amount of time that the ex-LG has been competing.

well in terms of comparing him to ex-LG he actually got a point. during split 1 and split 2 lans he outplaced ex-LG although ex-lg outplaced them in championship, but if they didn't stop optic from winning 4th game, their points in first 4 rounds would place them like top 5 where ex-lg did bad in first 4 games.
