Sweet Sorrow is probably one of most favorite auto rifles by far. It's such a well rounded and powerful weapon and it's a 720. Caitial is really starting to win me over lol. Even without God roll perks this weapon shreds for me.

I'm in love with mine. I went with enhanced perpetual motion + enhanced tap the trigger with accurized, arrowhead, range masterwork. With counterbalance, you get 100 recoil direction, which feels like the play for console.

@@Final_Out watch wellspring. They rotate thru the basic weapons every day. Farm the heck of it that day. At HELM if you are progressed enough can also get first purchase each week as a red border. Also can just randomly drop. But wellspring is prob most reliable way to get it unlocked. If you don’t know how to tell what weapon is dropping that day, click difficulty level (wellspring 1510 tab) at wellspring and when select mode (normal/master) comes up, it tells you the weapon of day

I think the way enhanced perpetual motion is worded implies that it *stacks* faster, not that the stacks fall off slower. Perpetual motion immediately falls off once you stop moving.

I've a triple tap/vorpal roll that's been amazing to use but that stats for all/one for all combo is fantastic. I have it on a Perses-D scout that works really well with it.

Hip fire into ads with this is the BOSS! Between this and Thunder Lord, I use the Thunder Lord like a scout, one two shots at a group of ads and the lightning takes them out, then switch to this to finish out the group. Still looking for the perfect kinetic, but really liking Sweet Sorrow.

Sweet sorrow and piece of mind are some of my top priority weapons to unlock for crafting along with a few other of the seasonal weapons they’ve all been feeling really crisp so far, plus land tank is my favorite origin trait so all in all the cabal have been winning me over really well this season

Also the Piece of Mind pulse has my attention right now too over Fatebringer. Haven’t tried Twilight Oath but I just got one for the first time ever. Has opening shot with snapshot sights.

I got a stats for all with one for all roll and man on mine and it’s fantastic! It rolled with extended mag too and the base mag size is 70 and the base reload isn’t terrible either. I really like that they’ve added perks that perfectly synergies together.

That Auto can roll with Turnabout. In PVE, Turnabout for Shields, Killing Wind for Mobility and Handling, and the intrinsic Land Tank giving you resist makes you feel like a tank.

Thanks to the DMT hipfire nerf (150rpm 3 tapping has the same optimal TTK as a 600rpm auto rifle) and a few other changes that've been made recently (particularly at WQ launch), Auto Rifles really feel like they're in a solid spot overall. Most importantly, 720s are VERY solid right now. 600rpms I'm not sure since I haven't played around with them since the WQ launch, 450s and 360s need a bit of a buff but a small one and are definitely usable, but overall I'm so happy to finally say that I can use my favorite pvp weapons (which I easily perform the best with, by far) without feeling like I'm crippling myself for it.

Got a random roll for pvp w perpetual motion/tap the trigger. It's pretty damn consistent. Paired it with a steady hand /snapshot thoughtless sniper. The handling gets pretty nutty. This AR doesn't have kill clip like chroma rush but it is quite the laser beam for me.

Keep in mind multiple factors here. Aztecross plays on NA servers so not all servers will perform the way this is. Some will be easier, others will be way harder. Another thing to keep in mind is this is pc play. On a 720 running arrowhead+counterbalance will make this nutty on console where as pc you can compensate. Skill gap will also come into play here. Not saying cross is bad but let's say you got a kd like wallah your lobbies will be very different and you may not enjoy running an auto rifle in a 4.0kd lobby.

Cross do you think extended barrel would be better with the loss of 9 handling for 10+ recoil to bring it from 57-67? You wouldn’t suffer and drop in range between the two perks and I think the recoil increase could add to more consistency

Ive never had enhanced perpetual motion -- but PM to me feels underpowered as a reload perk. I get that its easy to activate and thus has less benefit accordingly -- but the extra reload speed on anything, even at ×2, just feels so minimal to me. Its like the perk might as well not be there for all the good it does in practice. Its no outlaw, surplus, or threat detector; ill say that. I think even alloy mag or drop mag are faster reloads than PM. A reload mod on the arms does better for you

Funny I actually got that PVE roll randomly, and it was a red box so I guess I'll keep that one as well. Really liking the weapon so far, I missed that Breakneck, the design of a lot of the Gambit weapons appealed to me but the sound is even better on this one without the slower ROF. The redesign, again while I hate the fact that Bungie is sunsetting then 100% recycling weapon models I like what they did to that model so ok I guess.
