Hard to believe now this was nearly 20 years ago. And he could still charm the heck out of the audience. He really look like he is enjoying his comeback here. Sigh. David....you are missed here on earth, and outsinging all the angels in heaven now.

He was still as fine AF here. I'm not too crazy about that dorky haircut though. Nobody ever rocked a shag the way DC did!

I bet The View was a nice tv show back then and the women that were on there at the time acted normal and had mature conversations. Look how good all of this looks it's 1998 people have a happiness and a radiance to them that you don't see much of today. David Cassidy looks so healthy and it's just before everything fell apart in our country. I really miss those times and things are very complex nowadays.
@lisamarielund62927 жыл бұрын
I agree with you 100%. There is a lack of manners and civility in our country and in society in general. The levels of narcissism and selfishness have shot through the roof with everybody only concerned with themselves. The Partridge Family went on the air in 1970, the country was still in "come on people smile on your brother everybody get together try to love one another right now" mode. We didn't have "Greed is good" or yuppies yet. The world today is a million times worse than it was in 1970. The country started to fall apart in 1980 with Ronald Reagen and his horrid wife Nancy.
David has been making me smile since I was eight years old. I am closing in on 57 years of age. I absolutely cannot comprehend just how many of my smiles he has been responsible for because he still makes me smile today. I hope one day in Heaven, I will see all my family again and get a chance to come across this guy!

David was a light, and you can see it even in this interview. He was so beautiful, enigmatic, easy on the eyes and had a lot soul, when he sang and spoke. I think he was full of love and the industry that he was in, seems to be full of not so real people but David seemed genuine, kind and loving, and real. I think he was surrounded by not so nice people, I guess. Nonetheless, David he was so beautiful and lovable. I never met him but David seemed unique. Where do you see that in today's music industry? We all have our own styles but David was different. In my opinion.

David had such a beautiful smile. It is too bad he did not give up drinking soon enough. His organs started breaking down. None of us expected such a wonderful man to die this way. I think fame overwhelmed him and he did not know how to deal with it. We will not forget you, David Cassidy. May you R.I.P. From one of your fans

Did you get a chance to speak to him or shake his hand? It's always fun to meet a celebrity you have admired for years. I saw" Differen't Strokes star Todd Bridges in a parade on the South Side of Chicago in the early 80's. In addition, I also saw AMC diva Susan Lucci at a department store appearance. I also spoke to R&B singer Jerry Butler on the phone, since my mom knew him from back in the day. Finally, sadly he died in 2015, but I met and briefly chatted with actor Jonathan Crombie of "Anne of Green Gables fame in 2008. Have you ever met any of the other PF cast members? Since Shirley Jones comes across as a sweetie, it would be cool to meet her.

Wow, I grew up with the Partridge Family (And Brady Bunch, Beverly Hillbillies. Get Smart, I Dream of Genie, etc.) And now today, I am a part time music producer.. So many current singers have the karaoke voice. That means they can hit the notes, but they all sound the same. But David Cassidy had a great, unique, and velvet voice. When you heard a song with him singing, you knew who it was. He will be missed.
