Quite honestly, this to me is a real blessing to watch. Not only for the presence of Danny and Shirley, but seeing two of the very best people being interviewed, Dave Madden, and my very sweet and dear friend, Suzanne Crough (Condray). When Dave died, my then ex-wife was working at Community Hospice in Jacksonville, Florida. I came up to drop her off some lunch when I saw this man who I thought looked remarkably like Reuben Kincaid...I asked her "is that Dave Madden?" and she quietly acknowledged it was, but due to HIPAA laws I was not going to approach him. So she surprised me one day by bringing me his autograph and a personalized message from him. That was awesome. Now Suzanne I had known since we were kids, growing up in the same neighborhood. That girl was extraordinary; articulate, very intelligent, and so soft-spoken. We stayed friends until she got married to her husbanc Bill, but when I heard of her passing, I was in total tears and shock for days. That same girl I knew so well was gone. Seeing this is definitely a treat to me. Thank you for the upload!

Caller ID was the worst thing ever made. People use it as a crutch instead of just picking up the phone and saying hello to see who it is on the phone

@@video198712 Nonsense. Nothing wrong with screening calls. Too many scam callers even back then. It’s a modern tool of technology. No reason not to use it if one prefers. That’s like saying phones themselves are a crutch. You could just drive to see people in person. Or forget driving, just walk. Driving is a crutch. See that’s how silly it sounds to refer to caller ID as a crutch.

Totally understandable that DC did not want to attend. If you have a career going you cannot dwell in the past too many times. Also he desperately wanted to death himself from the show and the aftermath of it that broe him down completely. The PF show made him, but also ruined his future career.

And don't ya just love the lame lie of an alibi as to why he couldn't be there.... " he's in the studio , recording as we speak" Yeah, right. More like... He's sitting at home taking a dump, wondering if the turd he's just cut will find his career somewhere along the way to the bottom of the can

Lit123ful It was the complete opposite situation. David was mostly estranged from his father. Jack Cassidy, while being a established actor, was very disturbed by a sudden assent of world wide fame the the show brought to his son. David wasn't trying to please his father-- he was just trying to have a relationship with him. The show is rather tacky. David either had other obligations or he chose not to appear on the show for other reasons Humility has nothing to do with it. He doesn't shy from his past, but he doesn't have to pander to it.
