I don't know when this tv appearance was made but it looks to me like the late 70's. Brian still looks quite well here, although his speech was slurred, so I guess he must of already been heading down that slippery slope even then. Brian died back in 96 and fellow band member Mick Tucker in 2002 or 03. r.i.p. Brian and Mick.

Well Brian had already had a succession of heart attacks several years prior to this interview .These attacks were probably the most damaging thing because he was weakened so badly which meant that he was then susceptible to other illnesses . Indeed his body was later to suffer from additional illnesses each of which meant a significant deterioration to his ever increasingly worsening health situation. BC proved , however, that he was a determined fighter to the end !
